We decided to stay in the Tria hotel for two reasons: location in Sultanahmet & pictures on their website. First reason is completely correct: best location to in Istanbul, near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and a bunch a very good restaurants. The second reason was a bit of a letdown as the street is a bit different... More

I decided to book this hotel for a long weekend with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. The hotel was very hospitable on arrival giving us all the details we needed in order to stay safe and also the best places to visit - this was also catered to our needs and helped plan our holiday so we could make... Location was perfect and breakfast was delicious! Honey and coffee superb! Room amenities were nice too. Rooms were clean...but took several hours the first day to get all our rooms (approximately 2100 hrs) which was rough after a 22 hr flight.

Despite some great reviews, I have been very let down by this hotel....irs my first night with two to go... Terrace is not open officially and resembles a dumping ground. So you can sit there but very uncomfortable. Given its warm, area is busy and all rje attractions started their summer opening hours i'd expect the hotel to follow suit.... More

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean, well-appointed room and a generous breakfast. The hotel is just down the hill from Ayasophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a roof top restaurant during the high season.

Hotel is in Sultanahmed district, Old City. Not very different from most hotels in this district. Rooms aren't big but clean and normal. I stayed in many hotels in this part of Istanbul and breakfast there is the best. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. I would recomment it.

The Tria Hotel is in a great spot. Placed within walking distance of all the 'big' attractions eg The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & other ancient sites. The tram stop is close too so travelling around Istanbul - to the 'new city', the airport, the Grand Bazaar etc is made easy. Tria Hotel is an older hotel, the rooms are... More
