My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a Gate 1 Tour of Turkey. We loved the location because we could easily walk to many attractions such as the Spice Market (just a few blocks away), the fish restaurants under the Gallata Bridge, the Grand Bazaar, the trams, etc. The lobby is large and well appointed.... I was staying at Legacy Ottoman Hotel from 04 - 06 April 2014. We were promptly picked by the Hotel Shuttle Service Driver who greeted us and took us to the hotel. The Hotel Staffs were all kind and very helpful in providing information about the places to visit in Istanbul as well as good places to eat. Overall, we... More

Stayed for two nights as part of a tour. Hotels is walking distance to shops, restaurants and old town. The free wifi is a great bonus and buffet breakfast has enough variety for everyone. The staff is very helpful. FYI - hotel does not exchange money. There is a currency exchange around the corner.

I can only assume there is no governing body overseeing the star rating in Turkey as this hotel must have adopted the 5 stars to decorate its name. They mean nothing. This hotel is filthy and understaffed. I chose to ignore the Trip Advisor ratings and take a chance as the event I was attending was located in this hotel.... More

I could have asked for nothing more. Everything was great. The location was wonderful in that it is near the Spice Market and also the Grand Bazaar. The food was very good and plentiful. Beautiful building, elevator, and sitting area in the main lobby. The staff was excellent and glad to help the guests.

We stayed two days and found the property to be more than adequate. Our room was clean and although on the 3rd floor streetside was very quiet after normal hours. The birds may keep you awake if leaving the windows open. Breakfast was adequate. We found the bar to be very quiet and higher priced. There are plenty of eating... More

When I checked in I was told they were putting 2 twin beds together for my husband & I... After having a bad experience with this in Iceland, I requested a queen bed & told them I would wait in the lobby until one became available. They were very accommodating, & we didn't have to wait long for my request.... More
