I spent 5 nights at the Noble House in May, I pre-arranged an airport pick-up with no charge because I was staying more than 3 days. Perfect location, a little away from the Galata Square which in itself is very charming with wonderful restaurants and music in the evening. The area is a lot less crowded than parts of the... More

What a great find. We are from Canada, and spent a few nights at this hidden secret. Best of all was Dilek, the manager. Her friendliness, overall help and cooking/baking skills (delicious!) made for one outstanding stay. Thanks Noble House Galata and Dilek!

We stayed here for a long weekend in room Zen. The location is top, close to Galata tower. The rooms are very clean and comfi and Dilek and the staff very friendly and helpful with many insider tipps. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Would always come back.

We just finished a week's stay here. This is a wonderfully warm, friendly hotel and we cannot recomend it highly enough. It was spotlessly clean and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delcious and nothing was too much trouble for our host, Dillek. As a result of choosing this hotel we had a brilliant week in Istanbul.

Noble House Galata is a friendly B&B with an excellent breakfast, friendly staff and terrific location. The historic house is steps from Galata Tower, surrounded by great cafes, galleries and restaurants, and a short walk to the tram, Galata Bridge and ferry terminal. The atmosphere is very nice, but it is worth noting that the rooms can be small (some... More

Location: Just down the street from Galata tower, many excellent restaurants nearby, check out Luleci Hendek cad. Sishane metro just up the hill. Istiklal Cad, major pedestrian thoroughfare just up the hill. But if you walk from there, you will be walking up & down steep hills. Great views of Galata tower and the water from the rooftop terrace. However,... More

It is a quite small hotel with 8 rooms. The lady at the reception desk is quite welcoming. She answered every question with patience. The hotel is very close to the main attractions. The only thing the room with hamam concepts smells moisture.

I have tried 3 different hotels in Istanbul and as they say the third time was a real charm! First of all, the warm and homely welcome and the instant feeling you get like you've known these people for a while and that you have memories in this place. The friendliness of the staff was just awesome and made our... More

We mostly enjoyed staying at Noble House, located in the hip and gentrifying Galata neighborhood, just down the street from the Galata Tower. The location is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the AC works, and the rooms are small and charming, each with its own decorative theme (the Sultan Room, The Retro Room...). But beware, it's a walk-up, the... More

Upon arriving at the hotel about 3 PM our room was not yet cleaned. As I often do in places that seem quasi clean I lifted the top mattress for a bed check. I was greeted by little white wiggly larva. We didn't stay there.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
