I read great reviews on trip advisor for this hotel so booked it but the first thing that you need to know is that the hotel has a name change - now called "Ferman Sultan hotel". My wife and I just spend six wonderful nights in this hotel. The staff could not have been any more helpful. The rooms are "european", comfy and very clean. when we got to istanbul no taxi driver had ever heard of this hotel, its not called the blue hills hotel its called ferman sulthan, they changed their name about 3 times, the staff are rude and you have to pester them to have anything done, they stuck me in the room outside of the reception and the night staff... I spent 5 nights at Blue Hills Hotel, which has an excellent location - very short walking distance to Hippodrome, famous Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Room was large and comfortable as it was well equipped with all immenities.the, staff was friendly and very helpful.All major sightseeing was at a very comfortable walking distance.breakfast was very simple but Iso was helpful and efficient .Hot water in the shower was an issue in the last two days.Overall it was good value and I enjoyed my stay.thank you...
