Grear breakfast including pancakes, fruit, vegetable, salad, cheese and cake. Allways helpfull service and good advices for our visit in Istanbul. 24-hours open. Very close to Hagia Sophia and blue mosque. Nice people all around the hotel.

The location is perfect, the views are wonderful, the breakfasts a real treat, the decorative textiles fascinating, but the real reason to stay here is the opportunity to get to know the special people that make it all possible. They made us feel like honored guests of the family. Istanbul is a big city, and at times can be overwhelming,... More

Istanbul is a busy but fascinating city and the old town of Sultanahmet is the hub of the tourist area. So what is better than to find a home-away-from-home at the Marmara Guesthouse. This four story small hotel treated my friends and I very well on a recent five day tour of Istanbul and we couldn't speak more highly of... More

If you like a bed and breakfast experience, then I can't imagine staying anyplace else in Istanbul. It was wonderful in so many ways. As others have discussed, the location is absolutely perfect. You are just a few minutes away by foot from most of the major sites in the old part of the city, and there are restaurants and... More

My friend and I recently stayed here for 5 nights on the third floor with partial view of the sea. It was a wonderful experience from the hospitality of the staff to the great array of food at the breakfast buffet. The staff was amazing in helping us plan our day and making arrangements. The location can't be beat with... More

We visited Istanbul just after Christmas 2014. While it was snowing weather, the city nevertheless drew large amounts of visitors, no doubt local and foreign. Marmara Guesthouse is right near all the history attractions, the closest attraction being Topkapi Palace and Aiya Sophia. It wasn't easy for me to find, the best way I could relate to its location was... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here - the location is superb, the staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating and the breakfast is varied and generous. There is a great rooftop patio with a sea view and they give you unlimited free coffee. My only niggle is that we paid extra for a room upgrade for 3 nights, but having... More

I really enjoyed my 8-day stay. The location is fantastically located while being nice and quiet. It is just a short walk to the tram and lots of the main interesting things to see in Sultanahmet. The breakfast was really outstanding--I really looked forward to eating each morning! Elif, Yagmur and the rest of the staff all went out of... More

I stayed at this establishment for 4 nights and was delighted with the service. The owner and the staff were delightful and always very curtious and willing to help. The location is ideal as we are a few minutes away from the Blue Mosque, topkapi palace and the Hagia Sophia Museum. Although we are only a few minutes away from... More
