The Antique Hotel is a nice, little hotel in a good location in Sultanahmet. The hotel has a nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace with some drinks, pastries, fruit, veggies and hard boiled eggs. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. They are very small, but my husband and I had no problems leaving each of our large travel backpacks on... More

From the moment we arrived at Antique Hotel we were welcomed and looked after for the duration of out stay. The staff here treated us so well and made us feel at home. The breakfast was a great tipical turkish spread. The Hotel is great value for money and so close to the centre of Istanbul. We would recomend this... More

This little hotel/hostel has about as good a location for a tourist to Istanbul as they get. This is obvious from the map, after all. For a first timer the hotel's address is a bit difficult to locate, but as I came to know the manager and staff, they are helpful whenever they can and upon request they'll describe the... More

The staff here were very nice and welcoming (in fact I was surprised to read otherwise in another review below), and went out of their way to help us in some ways. They helped us with directions and suggestions for what to visit and were just approachable in general. The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely to start off the... More

The owner/managers of this hotel go out of their way to make you feel at home. "At home at their home" is the feel of the place, so if you want something authentic and special go here. It feels something like a small european pension. The location is about the best possible for the Istanbul tourist attractions. (there are a... More

The positives are firstly the owner and staff who were very helpful when we had problems with shuttle and other matters. The rooms were very clean. Having the excellent breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the Bosphorus was great start to the day. Location was excellent both for main attractions and local eateries. The only problem is the size of... More

Very well located, quite, nice breakfast area with the view on Bosphourous. The rooms are sufficiently clean and good point with the air conditionning. Bad aspects: - Not very special welcoming, especially compared to the warm welcomes we received elsewhere in hotels or any places visited. - Bathroom with shower directly on the toilet do not make things very simple...... Property in Sultanhamet is expensive so you cannot expect a big room for a budget price. Yes you could do with more space but if you had that you'd pay more. What was more important for us was helpful staff, clean rooms, excellent buffet breakfast, good views, and most of all the location. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi... More
