Not perfect by any means but friendly staff and just off taxim square. The restaurant has a fantastic view and so did my room. The bustle of Taxim was just a short stroll and everything else was good. I arrived very late after an inconsiderate taxi driver couldn't be bothered to drop me outside. The reception staff wanted to take... More

We stayed here as part of a tour group for the 100th anniversary commemorations of ANZAC Day, so we didn't choose the hotel. Rooms were clean but small, with a view of the back of a building and an alleyway, and despite WiFi in the room, it was expensive for what it was, though this may just be the price... More

The Hotel was ok nothing special, we got a Superior double room and they gave us single beds despite the fact that we were couples. On our insistence they gave us double bed rooms on a higher floor but the rooms were very bad and small. One of them didn't even have a closet. If superior rooms are this bad... More

This was my 2nd time in Istanbul and as a girl travelling alone, I always worry about location and security when I choose a hotel and I was not disappointed. The hotel is new, modern, with a spacious elevator and a helpful staff, especially the maids. The bedroom is also spacious, with a beautiful decoration! It offers facilities for coffee... More

Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking that part of Istanbul, is quite an experience. Helpful and friendly staff. With well equipped and thought about hotel rooms and facilities. In my visits to Istanbul I've been in five other four-stars hotels in Taksim district, I found this one the best.

good for business and leisure, easy access to bus and public transport, fair pricing. Restaurants and shopping nearby, good selection of hotels in the neighborhood anyway for everyone. I hope with this I reach the 200 words asked by tripadvisoir, which is too much in many cases.

This hotel is quite well situated near Taksim Square, also near a metro station, funicular to the Bosphoros, bus to both Istanbul Airports. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included and served on a panoramic room at top floor. Walking distance to shops, many restaurants and centraly located to visit Istanbul's main attractions. Excellent relation quality price

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
