I stayed for three nights with my friends and I think it was not as not bad as others wrote. The staffs didn't speak English so much but their smiles and kindness were great. They did help us to carry our luggage to the room.I think it depends on the person I mean the room was a little small but we didn't... I have never made this claim, (you can read all my reviews) my bose headsets went missing. I have gone everywhere with thrm and always packed them in my hand bag...but they disappeared here. Manager got offended when I told him about it. He was going to have the general manager email me, two months later and no email yet.... More

We had a great stay in Istabul . The hotel was walking distance to Grand Bazaar which of course is a must see in Istanbul . Tram was at the end of the street so if we choose not to walk it was a easy means of transport . Walking distance to the Blue Mosque which was superb and Haggia... More

Comfortably placed, has the basics, not first class but the price suites the lodging. For world traveler who want to see the world at pocket cost. Friendly and helpful owners. The bathroom inside the rooms is not preferable. Rather take a room with an external bathroom. It is ok. The dining area allow for a wonderful sight over the city... More

This was one of the hotel's we were offered by our travel agents, and wow were we glad we chose it. Within a 5 minute walk of the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Yerebatan and only 25 minutes from the Grand Bazaar it was tucked down a quiet one-way street. You would never have known how close you were to... More

This hotel has large comfortable rooms with all facilities. Beautiful dining room with a spectacular view of mosques and the harbour. Very helpful staff and breakfast was very well catered with many choices. The outdoor garden on the rooftop further enhanced the surroundings. Close to all major sight seeing attractions. Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque.

The best part of this hotel was the location (in the old city) and the view from the breakfast balcony. Our room was minute and the 'en suite' bathroom was a cupboard with a shower on the wall that rained down onto the toilet. Our friends had an inside room with no windows, which was even worse. The breakfast was... More

Dissapointing, the only good thing is the location and the terrace views, all the rest...is forgetable. This is more a cheap hostel than a 3 stars hotel. Rooms are very small and old and bathroom (if you can call to it bathroom is simply indecent). Shower hangs on the wall and when you use it water simply falls on the... More

My Husband and I booked a four night stay in Hotel Sultanahmet for 3 nights over the New Year period, having found and booked on Budgetplaces.com for a reasonable price (or so we thought) for the accommodation offered. The pictures of the actual rooms on the website were NOTHING like the room we were given. We booked and paid for... More
