We spent 5 nights at a Sightseeing trip in this Hotel and first got a room which was super small. It was hard for us to place our luggage (only 1 bag for 2 People and there wouldn't have been the place for a second bag). We had some issued with our bathroom (water on the floor) during our first... More

I stayed for a weekend in November 2015. I requested a high floor for more than two months in advance and confirmed they will provide it. They gave me a room in the first floor and it was very loud. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby and music is loud until late. On the Saturday, the music was... More

Pros: The hotel is clean and economic. I think it is suitable for young couples and friends. The location is perfect because its nearest to Gulhane tram and also Eminönü station for buses.(It will take 15 minutes on feet to Eminönü). You can go to Sultanahmet on your feet. This hotel is suitable for Western people more than Easterns. Cons:... More

Choosing to stay in Adora hotel was great decision. We stayed last year in a different hotel in Sultanahmet which can not compare in any aspect with Adora hotel. Location is great in proximity of major attractions, very clean and serviced daily by cleaning staff, towels changed daily. Yusuf at reception was of great help as same as all hotel... More

I loved it here. Comfortable room, amazing hospitality. The hotel is a classic, small, European hotel. Private bathrooms with hot shower and good water pressure, AC in rooms. The rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast is a large buffet of typical Turkish fare (cheeses, veggies, fruits, pastries and spreads, eggs, some sausages). Coffee is excellent. It's in a busy neighborhood,... More

I've been here with my boyfriend for 6 days. The hotel is ok, not good as expected from the opinions we red before booking. The location is perfect. Rooms are nice and clean but very different one from another, so it's better to make sure they are not giving you the smallest one that is really too small. The service... More

Excellent location! Can i say anything else good? Breakfast is fairly good, staff is nice - although our room had a broken down air-con which wasn´t fixed until after three days. No discount offered. Is that good? No. A note: if you´re going to book their cheapest rooms - they´re not bigger than the bed. Really. We didn´t have room... More

The hotel is in the middle of Istanbul, all the attractions are on walking distance. The rooms were not that big, but good enough. The people were very friendly and made us feel really at home. We never eat all nights at the same place, but here we did. Great food and the prepared for us special things that were... More

I stayed here for a week. The manager was sooo helpful, loaning me a connection for my phone and just ready to help. My room was clean neat and had all I needed. Breakfast was lovely with lots of home cooked food and fresh fruit. I loved chatting to the young trainee staff about Turkish culture. What a fantastic location.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
