We were a little sceptical and hesitant to book since the price looked too good for its location. But everything proved to be better than our expectation! First of all, it is very well located. Gulhane tram station is very close, probably 2-3 minutes by walk. Many major sights can be covered by comfortable walk e.g. Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia,... More

We were there a week and the entire staff worked super hard to make our stay memorable. HUGE shoutouts to Arif, Adem, Yusuf, Orshoot, Oor, Jim, Momin, Ramazan, and Deddy. Even the housekeeping staff was awesome. The location is super close to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Saray. The tram is so close! The free breakfast... More

Amazing stay, Staff is very very friendly and helping in every way. Yusuf, Jem, Adam and Bedi are all very nice people. Location is very close to all the main attractions and very convenient. Tram is just 2 min walk away.. We were also given a free one way transfer from Airport and breakfast :)

As others have previously said the staff at the hotel are wonderful. They really went above and beyond anything we had expected or had previously experienced to make us feel welcome at the hotel and in Istanbul. The hotel itself is quite nice, the beds were comfortable, the rooms a size that would be expected for a hotel in that... More

Pros: Very close to tram station and historical places. Clean rooms, sheets changed daily. Very helpful and friendly staff always willing to help. Good restaurant and good breakfast spread. Cons: The room on the top floor that we were put in, was very small but really didn't matter because we spent so little time in the room itself.

Thank you to Yusuf and the rest of the staff at Adora Hotel. I stayed here for 5 days in May. The location is amazing, within walking distance to the main sites of Istanbul, and located conveniently also next to a tram stop. The seaside is also within walking distance, where you can catch a ferry and view both sides... More

This hotel is a boutique hotel, very strategically located on the tram station of Sirkeji, equidistant from Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet) and Galaata Bridge on the harbour. The Spice market is 7-8 minutes walk and a further 5 minutes walk to Grand Bazaar. In other words the location is a big plus. As the hotel is small, so are the rooms.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
