We stayed here from July 12 thru the 14th. It is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. It is by far the best hotel in the old city of Istanbul. The location is absolutely perfect. It is the middle of all the major attractions. The Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Topaki Palace. The Cistern, is... More

My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel and also had one lunch and two dinners here in the lovely dining area. We had a room on the second floor which was nice with a huge marble walkin shower in the bathroom. The room was also clean and quite comfortable. The buffet breakfast was substantial and the staff... Stayed here from July 3-7, 2014. Staff were most welcoming, it was a delightful surprise compared to some hotels we stayed at in Turkey--others were acceptable but somewhat gruff, this place was effusive and eager to be helpful. Price was definitely right--not budget, but an excellent value for the price. Setting is awesome--next to almost all of the great destinations... More

For visiting historic Constantinople you won't find a better location. The hotel's entrance looks directly across a narrow street at the walls of St. Sophia Cathedral (Ayasofya). A short walk to the left takes you to the entrance of Topkapi Palace. Walking right leads directly to the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii). A nearby streetcar will take you to most of... More

I traveled to Istanbul for a long weekend from Rome and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The hotel is right across the street a tiny side street from the Hagis Sophia, a must-see museum in Old Town. It is just up the small street from Sultanahmet Square behind the Green Corner. It is difficult to find if you arrive on foot... More

Beautiful hotel in the middle of all the top tourist attractions. Booked transfers through the hotel which is advisable as Istanbul airport is BUSY. Rooms were ultra clean. You also have a choice of a range of synthetic and natural pillows which to choose from and our room had a bath with a jacuzzi which was great after being out... More

I stayed here in April '14. While the hotel is a mix of updated and dated features (bathrooms were terrific, bedroom slightly dated but clean and comfortable,) the excellent location overcomes any drabness. Located on a side street out of the hubbub of Sultanahment Sq. its super easy to walk to the Square at any time of day to enjoy... More

We were taken to this Hotel's restaurant by our walking guide, a man who seemed to know everybody in Old Istanbul. I am really happy he did. This was the best meal we had in four days in Istanbul, which included dining at some of the finest restaurants in the city. A very large menu, fresh ingredients prepared daily, in... More

Sea Song and Elking tours booked us at this hotel which is directly across from the Hagia Sophia. We spent five nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to many of the historic sites within minutes. We also took the tram which stops nearby. The hotel restaurant, Matbah, serves foods made from the Sutlans' (updated)... More

The choice of hotel was made by our “Travel Counsellor” Anne Hancock. This hotel is a perfect location in Sultanahmet. We stayed three nights and it was so easy to access the local highlights of Istanbul - the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern are all within a five minute walk from the hotel. Further venues... More
