We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is so close to all the major attractions in Sultanahmet and a tram ride away from the Grand Bazaar and Taksim. The rooms were very comfortable and staff are quite friendly.

With the recommendation of friends, we booked 3 nights at the Ottoman Imperial. We were delighted with it! It's location on a little cobblestone street (no cars!) beside the Haghia Sophia made it a perfect location to either step out for a full day of walking to the many historic sites or just to sit and watch the people milling... I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! It was a great location and located down a cobble street. I was reluctant to give it tan excellent rating, as when making the reservations through booking.com I stated there would be two people. When I arrived at the hotel, after traveling half way around the world, they was 40 euros extra for... More

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is next door to Hagia Sophia and within easy walking distance of the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, the Cistern and other sights in historic Sultanahmet. The best room in this hotel is Room 406, which has a small balcony that overlooks Hagia Sophia, beautifully lit at night. In a hotel... More

The Ottoman Imperial is literally across a narrow pedestrianized street from the Hagia Sophia and within 5 minutes walking time from the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque or the central Cistern. Ancient Istanbul is outside your window. Rooms are comfortable, air-conditioned, attractive and quiet. Breakfast is included. Turn left outside the front door and you will immediately find a super... We stayed in this hotel last October and found the location to be great and within walking distance of a lot of Istanbul's central attractions such as the spice market, Blue Mosque and the Golden Horn. Very friendly staff but the rooms are a little tired but of a good size. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight and... More

My ratings says it all; 1. Excellent staff services (Trully Turkish hospitality) 2. Excellent sleep quality 3. Nice Turkish breakfast in the morning 4.Of course, Location, location, location - perfectly located at Sultanahmet (Ayasofia, Hippodrome, Blue mosque, Topkapi, Grand Bazar, Cistern) all are in within walking distances. The only thing that cause this hotel doesn't get my 5 bullets ratings... More

After 20 hours of air travel and almost no sleep, we arrived at this hotel exhausted. We were greeted by Mehmet at the front desk who kindly helped us with a mix up with our travel agent. Then we met with Serhat who helped us orient to Istanbul and know how to achieve our plans for our stay. We saw... More

This is a very nice boutique hotel in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. We found the hotel to be clean, welcoming, and convenient. The room was large with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is within walking distance of the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basillica Cistern, and most of Old Istanbul. The staff of the hotel were all friendly... More

The location of this hotel in Sultanahmet can't be beat. Note that cars, including taxis, can't drive right up to the hotel. It's a short walk where the road has been closed off, however. The Aya Sofia is across the cobblestone street, the Blue Mosque is to the right and the Topkapi to the left. All within walking distance, and... More
