A 40th birthday, 8 people who didn't know each other and the Ada hotel. The thing that made this place for me was the service. We asked about a restaurant and they booked us a great place. We wanted a spa and they booked us a wonderful Turkish baths. We wanted an evening out, they booked us dinner on the... More

We had one of the apartments for a few nights and were more than satisfied. It was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped, especially given the price. Breakfast was plenty with a wide selection of continental and local choices. The location is just perfect - it's in one of Istanbul's quiet back streets but still just a 2 minutes on foot... More

Hello, I stayed in Ada hotel for 3 days and I found it great ! We rented a superior room with a view of the sea. The room was great and kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment was modern and breakfast was amazing. I have stayed in different hotels in Istanbul in the past and this is one of... More

Our family had three seaview rooms in the annex for 6 nights before Christmas. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, the appliances including a full kitchen and washer and dryer were all very new.Large bottles of drinking water appeared constantly so there was no need to go out and buy any, which is always a bit of... I had the pleasure of staying at the Ada hotel this past August along with my mom. Upon arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a lovely and spacious room with a great view. The room was equipped with a small fridge, glasses/mugs, tea and coffee along with water. Each morning we had breakfast on the roof... More

Ada Hotel in Istanbul provides a central location within walking distance to major attractions. It is owned and managed by Duane who is a most amenable host who provided information and booked additional tours for us. The standard of accommodation is superb and the breakfasts are scrumptious. We would recommend this as the ideal boutique hotel to stay in at... More

This is a charming hotel with an onsite owner operator who is knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Breakfast was included and was a sumptuous buffet--with delicious extras from their itch. Unless you want to gain weight, you have to tell the kitchen to stop sending you food! The location was excellent, easy walking distance to the major historic sites. Nearby are... More

I stayed in Ada Hotel Istanbul from 24 Sep 2015 for three nights during my trip in Istanbul. There are two buildings, one hotel building and one apartment building, with one-minute walk to each other. Both of them are within three-minute walk to the Blue Mosque. I stayed in one room in the apartment, which had a view to Marmara... More

My husband and I stayed at Ada Hotel for a few nights on our first few days in the beautiful Istanbul. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel itself is nestled in a quiet, quaint part of the old city. It is very close to the Blue Mosque and Aghia Sophia (at the most a 5 minute walk). Dr.Dogan... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
