We were in Istanbul at the beginning of September 2014. We wanted to be in the old part of Istanbul so our choice of the Ada Hotel was perfect. We had a great time exploring the old streets surrounding the hotel. We were met on our arrival by Dr. Sumengen. We had booked a room, but were shown to a... More

Following our excursion to Cappadocia the Ada Hotel transport picked my wife and I up from the airport at 21:00 - stopped off to get our bags at the Hilton and delivered us to our front door where the proprietor, Dr. Sumengen cordially greeted us and introduced us to our accommodations stocked with juice, milk, coffee, etc. As previously described... We were placed in their suites just down the road from the hotel. Big bedroom with lounge area, small kitchen/laundry. Excellent set-up in the 'old town' a stones throw away from all the antiquity you can absorb. Best b'fast you'll get anywhere in Turkey highly recommended

We had a great 4-night stay. We were placed in a separate building one block down the hill, in what was really a 1-BR apartment, appearing newly renovated. The room was quiet--we never heard the early morning call to prayer, an obvious bonus. Breakfast on the rooftop of the main hotel was outstanding--great food prepared and served by two very... More

We enjoyed staying at the Ada Hotel. It is so close to the main historical attractions in Istabul. Everything is within walking distance or a metro ride away. The owner is very nice and accomodating. It's a homey environment so that was different for us. The breakfast is fantastic and the two lovely Georgian who make it told us what... More

I have stayed at the Ada hotel each time I visit Istanbul (7 x since 2006!) and it has become my home away from home! This is a lovely boutique hotel in Sultanahmet in close proximity to many sights of interest (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, etc). The roof top faces the sea of Marmara with spectacular... More

We booked the Ada Hotel and were given a room in the "Ada deluxe" this room is separate from the main part of the hotel, it is only a short walk away. Room: One queen bed, a cot was also provided at no extra charge. Lounge area has a big sofa, the sofa doesn't open but was more than sufficient... More

We arrived in ataturk airport in july and the driver after talking with owner waited one more hour for us till we got our luggage. At first we were a bit uncomfortable when we went in to the building because it looks a little cramped but we were amazed to see beautiful apartment instead of standard room due to renewation.... We are a Mexican family of three members; we stayed from 6-12th of July, during Ramadan. This was our second stay with the Ada Hotel, but we were surprised to discover that a new building was expecting us, just down the hill from the "first Ada". The room was fantastic: a triple room in a sort of basement, which included... More

The Ada hotel is stones throw from Sultanahmet Square.but located on a quiet street. I stayed in room 501 of the annex building.. I pouted for a moment when then owner took us down the hill to the "new" Ada. My pout turned into a big smile once the door was opened to reveal the spacious well appointed suite with... More
