Not the easiest hotel to find when arriving to taksim on the bus from the airport, but once you find it, you realise how easy it is to get around from it. My room had a little balcony from which you get a sea view . We had to leave early to get flight and staff made sandwiches for us... More

The hotel is situated 50 m from Taksim square - easy to reach by metro (from Yenikapi) or funicular (from Kabatas). very close to Istiklal street (shopping area and also the old tram journey to Tunel or Galata Tower). Although a bit old furniture, the hotel is very clean with full ameneties (in the bathroom, even slippers, complimentary water every... More

was very good location, 100 M away from Taksim metro station and this is the most important for me, i liked the nearby shops , but the room view is not good, staff is not professional & rooms not quite enough.

I stayed here for three nights on business. As others says, the location is handy if you want to be around Taksim. However, I found it incredibly difficult to find, it was only with the help of the concierge at another hotel that I found it at all! So, some clear signage on Taksim Square would help (for those who... More

Hotel is excellent. Clean rooms, nice and professional stuff. Location fantastic. For young people - the best. Near hotel, Istiklal street, many shops, cafes and restaurants. This is great location for start visiting all the important: Sultanahmet street, Bosphorus, Nisantasi. There is a bakery near hotel, in front of Otoman palace hotel with great candies such as baklava, tulumba, very... More

The hotel is very centrally located and provides easy access to various places as this is close to metro. The reception is very courteous and helpful and guided for sight seeing trips also.Rooms are well maintained though a little small. Breakfast is good though more varieties could be added to suit international travelers.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
