I have selected this place to stay for two nights as a stopover and a purely time passing way. All the way, saving money was my intension... keeping the whole thing in mind, from check-in till check-out, it was awesome. First, the rooms, I have taken a super saving room, surely not really big in size and for a person... More

I spent my honeymoon in the hotel, best thing in the hotel is it's location very near to taksim square and Istiklal street. The stuff are very friendly, the rooms are not that good but clean and the breakfast buffet was good overall I really enjoyed it and will comeback again.

Very central hotel. However the room was too small and not equipped with proper blackout curtains. Although we had a view to an abandoned construction work, we could still see the Bosphorus. The room was well equipped and the cleaning service was good. The breakfast is not up to a 4* standard. Although Turkey is famous for fruits, only apples... More

very very very good location right on the Taxim square. Starbuks and McDonalds are in 1 meter from the hotel. The metro station in 5 meters from the hotel. A lot of coffee shops and restaurants are around. Absolutely not noisy location. The staff is very nice and friendly. The hotel is old but it it is clean. (Actually the... More

The hotel is clean and has a great location. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Most of the staff are friendly and their English is ok. Many thanks to the sweet and helpful receptionist lady,Mehtinas. She was very helpful during our stay. We had a smoking family room when we arrived. My son has allergic bronchitis and so I asked her... More

Having stayed at SultanAhmet area for 2 days I moved to hotel Metropark for a 4-night stay in Taksim area. The hotel is ideally located near underground Funicular, bus/tram stations, and Istiklal street, where nights remain alive. Also, access to other services such as grocery stores, restaurants, ATM, money exchange, Turkish Hammam is conveniently close. However, loud noises of drunkards... More

A typically bad center-of-Istanbul-small-hotel that deserves 2 stars. How it got 4 stars is beyond me. Don't be fooled into paying more than 50EUR/Night. Its location at Taksim Square is supposed to be to its great advantage but that is only if you love hearing drunk people shouting and singing all night in the square (especially during weekends and football... if this hotel was in the U.S, they would probably get 2 stars. They are like Fairfield by Marriott type of hotel with worse quality of beds and amenities. I stayed here for four nights, the rooms were very small and smelly, the breakfast was really good and the front desk staff were friendly. I had to pay to use... More

Dear Guest, We have made so many improvements since you last stayed (almost a year ago). All beds and linens have been renewed. The internet is still complimentary but upgraded. Thank you very much for your kind comments on our friendly staff and very good breakfast. We would love to welcome you again with our new features. More
