We visited Istanbul in November 2015 and stayed 5 days at Misafir Suites 8 in junior suite. The hotel is very well located, its on Istiklal street and 2 minutes walk from Taksim square. Staff is friendly and very helpful especially the afternoon receptionist (I think his name is Mehmet). Will definitely come back to this hotel when in Istanbul!

We spent 5 days (4 nights) in Istanbul, invited to a fantastic turkish/turkmene wedding and our hosts advised us to go to this hotel, since we know Istanbul rather well and wanted to be close to Taksim. The room was a suite at the fifth floor, very quiet though in the middle of one of the most living areas of... More

Great service and rooms. Dedicated people to help, and absolutely clean. I deeply recommand you that discreet hotel close to Cihangir and only 5 minutes walk from Taksim. Plus the unbeatable value. My advice, call directly to ask for rates.

The location is just off of Istiklal and a 2 minute walk to Taksim. There are cafes, hookah bars and kebab places lining up the street. We tried opening the windows the first night we were there but the noise and smell were awful. Some of the staff should be in the hospitality industry, they seemed bothered whenever asked any... Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
