we stayed there in the first week of august. The place is ideally located from the centre and also a quiet neighbourhood. Its 10 mins walking distance from the attractions like Blue mosque and grand bazaar. Very helpful staff and nice accomodating rooms. We got a nice big room one on ground floor and another one on top of it... More

We had a room on the seaside with a great balcony giving us an amazing and a cool place to chill! the staff were great and we had some good banter with the very friendly and informative guys at reception. The breakfast buffet is the usual fare of Turkish style and western food. The only slight problem we had was... More

We stayed in two standard double rooms for 6 nights here. One of the rooms was very nice, new, and spacious, the other room was very small, just enough to fit a double bed and the shower was a bit dated, tight, and cramped. The hotel staff was accommodating and helpful with good breakfast served daily at the top floor... More

The staff are brilliant! The rooms are fine - good views of the Bosphorus and the city; clean & free wifi. We arrived at one am, starving and tired, after airport closure and chaos following a storm and the manager personally retrieved a pizza that had been delivered to the wrong hotel! Breakfast is very good and even better if... More

Had booked deluxe room with sea view. Room size was big. This hotel is located in Sultanahmet and close to Blue Mosque, Hagya sofiya, Tokapi palace. Sultanahmet tram station is also very close by. The only thing I dint liked was that this hotel dosent have a lift. But the staff is very helpful. Overall its a very good hotel.

I stayed in here on two occasions, in two accommodation houses. They appear to be older style 4 storey terrace houses, with a staircase leading to each floor. The front reception is open 24 hrs. Large clean rooms, with en suite. Small breakfast balcony with local style food. The best point about this hotel is the location near Sultanahmet Square,... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Deniz Houses hotel, which has an excellent location in Sultanahmet for exploring Istanbul - it's about a 5 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square. However, upon arrival they'd overbooked us and they put us up in an apartment owned by the hotel. We were pretty exhausted when we arrived so it wasn't ideal to... More

Stayed for 4 nights in a single room which had a large bed and en suite bathroom. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. The staff are welcoming and the roof terrace and breakfast are excellent. The location of the hotel is in a nice quiet neighbourhood a few minutes walk from the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque. Would definitely... More

We stayed in the 2nd and 3rd floor suites in June2014 with 4kids under 12yrs and 3 adults (one over 65yrs). The hotel itself is a converted home I think. The stairs are quite narrow to get up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is no elevator, but they help get your luggage upstairs for you. No wonder no... More
