The hotel staff were nice. However, the hotel was not very nice. The shower leaked, so our bathroom floor was flooded most of the night; the breakfast was included, but the coffee was not nice. The rooms were very noisy at night. Cleanliness was satisfactory, although not incredible, but there are so many other hotels in Istanbul, that i was... More

This hotel is very well situated close to the tram and all the major sights. Our room was clean and airy. We did have a problem with our pick up from the airport but got there eventually. The staff were always very helpful and it is good value for what we paid,

Hotel is well located and the staff is very friendly...BUT The room is very small and dirty and it smells terible. Pros Hotel is close to Gulhane park and Bosphorus and all other important sightseeings. Very friendly personal speaking different languages. Cons The room smelled badly of mold and it is very small. No sound isolation at all, you could clearly hear people talking in the neighboring room. No place or support to put your bag and open it. Bathroom is... More

This hotel locates very well as for 2 mins walk to the Tramway station which makes you can easily move to many places in Istanbul. The breakfast is nice with good bread, coffee, tea, fresh tomato, cheese and yogurt. Sufficient to give you energy for city investigating. Staffs are nice and English speaking.

Small but very friendly. Good breakfast and close to bars and restuarants. Most importantly very easy connections by foot or by tram to major attractions such as Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi etc. We also travelled with BA - great deal. One tip....for return to airport use tram and metro - very easy and very efficient and ony 6TL (about... More

The Ersu Hotel is located in a great position for all of the main sights two minutes walk from the tram stop Gulhane. Breakfast was very good-the full Turkish variety with cold meats cheeses, breads, honey, yoghurt etc,... More
