Super friendly staff, great location, comfy room and nice breakfast. What more to say? No troubles with any noise. Good wifi. Ok, the way to the hotel is steep down hill but still easy enough. Taksim has good public transport and easy reachable from the airport with Havas shuttle.

I don't quite understand why that hotel is so well rated - which was - unfortunately, the reason I stayed there. The hotel is really, really small - there are simply two rooms on which floor, and there are about 5 floors. Some of the rooms are in the basement, one is just behind the reception desk. First - it... More

Excellent location of the property - several meters from Istiklal Caddesi. Comfortable bed. Small rooms. Decent breakfast. Good connection to Istanbul Landmarks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of shopping and restaurants in close surrounding.

A comfortable hotel, located in a beautiful and picturesque neighborhood, very close to Taksim and Istiklal street. Especially the nights were atmospheric, since our room was in the fourth floor and it was very pleasant just to watch the view and listen to the noises of the neighborhood. The two gendlemen in the reception were helpful, friendly and eager to... More

We stayed in January 2015, for 6 nights and we really enjoyed our stay! First, the staff is excellent, and long before our arrival, they answered emails in one hour (and I had many questions to ask them, believe me!). Then, when we arrived, the receptionnist was really helpful and help us carry our luggages to our room (there is... More

The hotel is located in a very poor and infamous neighbourhood, and the last night we found a flea in our bed. It's a busy hood and it's quite uncomfortable to reach taksim square due to the heavy dirt patch rise... Very helpful staf ++++ No elevator, bad wifi.

Location near Istiqlal Street and Taksim is great for communications; not imposing from the outside, but inside it is spotless and the staff are pure gold. Like the best butlers, not imposing... but when you need something, instant and helpful attention! The building is not large but it has what one wants; cleanliness and comfort and heaps of friendly goodwill.... More

The staff is great - Ibrahim helped us with our luggage, carried it all the way up 3 flights of stairs. Was always available for assistance. They even lent us an Istanbul Card and an international electric plug to use during our stay. Location is just 5 mins walk away from Taksim square. Room cleaning service was available everyday, and... More

Great location, value & service...we were only metres away from Taksim square which made our commute back and forth super handy. The room itself is kind of small especially the bathroom but any hotel in this area would be. Loved the location and the price is pretty reasonable. The front desk guys are AMAZING...soo helpful and humble.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
