Hotel is in a very good location within walking distance to all historical sites in Istanbul. Very close to Grand Bazaar. Excellent service, very nicely decorated. It's restaurant at the top has magnificient views. Personnel is very helpful.

Wonderful charming hotel. The location cannot be beat - walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Bazaar and the old city with numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel is on a quiet side street. The staff went over and above to assist us. The room was lovely, comfortable, and spacious. The rooftop breakfast area was an amazing place to... More

It is difficult to add anymore than so many previous reviewers have shared. This is a very nice hotel. (It certainly isn't the Waldorf-Astoria) but the service was very attentive. The weekday front desk clerk was exceptionally desirous of being helpful. And the restaurant manager made this solo traveler feel very welcome at every meal. The rooms are spotless, comfortable,... This hotel is comparable to the Waldorf Astoria- first class, service excellence and attention to every detail. Located on a quiet street behind the Pierre Loti, the Sultanhan offers everything you'd want in a tp hotel. Front desk, housekeeping and all employees are friendly and enthusiastic, willing to make your stay the bes possible. They even sent a fruit basket and... More

This is the third time we've been to Istanbul, and we would never think about going to another hotel. The location is the best. The hotel is off the main road, so it is very quiet and relaxing. The whole hotel staff from the managers to the maids go out of their way to help you. The breakfast is really... More

I went to this hotel with my brother celebrating his 80th birthday. I had been to Istanbul before and wanted to show him the wonders of this marvellous city. The Sultanhan was the ideal place to stay and one of the principle reasons I chose this hotel was that it was the only one on the internet where I was... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. We arrived very late the first evening and our son was hungry but the restaurant was already closed and one of the staff went and got him a snack! The rooms are spacious and ours faced the quiet street, the location is great for getting... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel and I was not disappointed! After nine years it is still a perfect place to stay with convenience to all the attractions, and the Grand Bazaar! The view is wonderful at breakfast time, and one dinner we ate up there and had a superb meal. The staff are very... More

Have never had such sexist disapproval by anyone before! Upon checking in the male desk manager noted I was staying by myself(after three weeks of travelling with a group!) and was rude and patronising about a woman "staying alone" Very disappointed Was given the smallest room in the hotel. No towels on arrival- fixed easily. No hotel information in my... More

This small boutique hotel has it all ! Firstly location. It is in the heart of the old city - 10 minutes easy walk to main sites of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Topkapi Palace & the Grand Bazaar in the other direction. It is also 2 mins from the main street & tramline. Yet it's location in an almost... More
