BRILLANT hotel with wonderful and freindly staff always there to give a helping hand. The room was spotless and had a very large bathroom. The open top roof resturant was lovely with wonderful food being served. The waiters were very attentive and kept filing up our water and even giving us 2 litre bottles at the end to take to... More

Very nice place to say. Clean, roomy. We only had breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor, but it has a view of the Mosques to die for, both at sunrise and at night. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights and quite liked this hotel. It's a small, but well maintained hotel. The rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms. We had a room facing the front of the hotel and could open up our doors to the quiet street below. It is off of one of the main drags so it's close to... More

Welcome on arrival was very much appreciated as was the information and advice to call them should we get lost and that they would come and get us - obviously we looked the worse for wear. The rooms were lovely and spotless. The rooftop restaurant personnel were wonderful and the views beyond words. We stayed here again after an overnight... More

This is a very nice hotel. It is conveniently located in the old city to most of the attractions - Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, etc. It is a very short walk to each. The hotel is situated on a quiet side street. The staff was friendly. This is not a spectacular place, but it is quite... More

Had great directions emailed to us from the hotel for taking the train from the airport so we got there without a hitch, but were tired after18 hours of traveling. At check-in we were asked if we had any tours booked, and I told him that we had. Proceeded to tell me we had made a mistake because his was... More

My husband and I stayed in Istanbul for 3 nights and arrived mid afternoon after a 12 hour journey where the receptionist immediately launched into trying to sell us a private trip/tour for about 150 TL for the next day. Our room was at the front of the hotel and perfectly clean and quiet. The location of the hotel could... More

Very decent hotel with clean rooms and small bathroom. Great location within walking distance to all main attractions. Lovely rooftop Restaurant serving a buffet style breakfast which was delicious. Great views looking out over the Bosphorous and Sea of Marmar. Maybe a bit expensive but thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is our second stay at Sultanhan Hotel. The location is perfect and on a very quiet side street so very quiet at night. Lovely rooms, great staff. A generous buffet breakfast on the roof with views over the whole city. We were a little disappointed that they had eliminated the bar on the first floor and no longer offered... More

While most rooms are larger than norm for Old Town, mine was small & near the elevator, but adequate & with A/C. The rooftop restaurant had a very nice breakfast buffet, good food in the evening & fabulous views! Service was friendly, helpful & warm. Terrific location near the sights & charmingly restored with elegant lobby. This hotel is a... More
