Visited for a week some time ago on a business trip. The hotel is in the centre of Istanbul, Laleli district, within easy reach of the State University and other major attractions. The room was nice, a bit too cosy. Otherwise, first class!

Hotel is in a decent area and is modern. The rooms are a little small however for us it was no issue but a few people were moaning at the reception staff about it? Breakfast is really good with plenty of choice and we really enjoyed the sun terrace and pool area ,as when searching for Hotels we noticed that... More

I am currently staying in this hotel and at 01:10 hrs find despite going to bed at 22:30 hrs I still can't sleep due to the outrageously loud music coming from the restaurant downstairs. I began complaining to the reception at 23:30 hrs and was told it would stop at midnight. Two further complaints and a request for a room... More

I and my family have enjoyed our time in this hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, 5-10 mins walk from the Grand bazar and right next to a metro station. It talk us an overall of approximately 25 mins to walk to the other metro station and to reach Sultanahmet square by metro. This square has the... More

I stayed for a whole week - combining a conference with exploration of this wonderful city. This hotel is all you can want for such a good price. Very clean, well-staffed, and nice. Great variety at breakfast and right by many decent restaurants with dinners at reasonable prices. It is an easy walk up to the Grand Bazaar and metro.... More

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighborhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighborhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
