Right in Sultanahment, but on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, restaurants, and the trolley. We had a triple room which was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful -- we ran into a couple of the guys while out and about, they came over to say hi! The room was above... More

Nice room, overlooked the garden with a balcony. Great breakfast buffet, extensive choice of food. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was ideal, close to all the sites in Sultanahmet and very quiet. Bed was comfortable, air-con was efficient and safe in room. We would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my time at Divas. The breakfast was lovely and the room was always clean. Our room had a balcony that looked over the local Mosque and the river which was absolutely beautiful. The air conditioning was brilliant as you could leave it on all day and come back to a refreshingly cool room. The staff were extremely... More

This hotel is located in the centre of Sultanahmet and is very convenient for all the main attractions. It can be awkward to visit by taxi but it is only 10 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Our room was small but very clean and the bed linen was changed daily. The shower had very good hot water and was... More

Just five minutes walk from the Hippodrome, linking the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Unpretentious but with 24 hour reception. Buffet breakfast provided but no other meals available. Our room (en-suite) with balcony, was small bur clean - towels were changed daily. The balcony looked out over a mosque to the Marmara sea. The drawback was the calls of... More

Dear reader, Firstly I recommend this cozy hotel. The location is perfect. It's very close to Çemberlitaş and Sultanahmet districts. You have to walk only 5 minutes to get there. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe place. You don't have to worry if you come late. That beautiful accommodation has small but fine rooms. It's perfect if... More

The hotel is within walking distance to all the sights however, it is up a, albeit short, hill which, if you have any breathing or leg problems may not be a good choice. The hotel itself was very cheap therefore, you get what you pay for, the room was okay but with many things broken or falling apart. Breakfast was... More

I booked this room using American Airlines miles. It was on the low end of points, but hardly the lowest available in Istanbul. So, my review is in the context of something on the cheaper end. The hotel is located very close to the main attractions in Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc.). The neighborhood is a mix... More

I booked this hotel for its economic rates. It cost me.low.and was located close to the main attractions. The staff was cooperative. Room were clean but small. Wifi was 24 hours available and was good. The best thing was its breakfast. Good comfortable environment. I suggest this hotel to those who wanna save for shopping.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
