Nice, clean hotel with a friendly staff in a city centre, very close to the Blue Mosque. Stay away if noise bothers you as it is located next door to a small mosque. Not a great breakfast but it`s free, included in price. Otherwise, a very fine hotel to stay.

The hotel is situated very close to everything. Roof terrace has very nice view to the sea and the city. The restaurant is more than nice, thanks to the cook. The staff is friendly, the rooms are big enough for 2. There is a mosque right in front of the hotel, but for us it was ok as it never... More

I booked the Stone Hotel because it was small, in a quiet street and different to the usual modern hotels in city centres. It has a hidden garden at the back - nice for having a cool drink after a day touring the city. The roof terrace has very good views towards the sea and is a lovely place for... More

I, together with three friends of mine, stayed a week at Stone Hotel. the friendliness of the staff and the excellent position, a stone throw from Blue mosque, makes it the ideal place to stay in Istanbul. The hotel is situated in a narrow and quiet street with a few good restaurants next corner. I recommend it.

Stone Hotel is on a quiet street about 5-7 min walking distance from the Sultanahmet Metro stop. Hotel is small, as are most in that area. Hotel clerks were very helpful, especially with knowing how much we should expect to pay for a taxi/transport to certain areas. This helped us to negotiate with the taxi driver to know we were... The hotel fit out budget and expectations perfectly. All of the major tourist sites are within a 5-15 minute walk but the hotel is still out of the way of the busiest roads. There is a mosque across the street, but I slept with earplugs and didn't hear a thing. The room and washroom were a good size and very... More

Me, my boyfriend and sister all stayed at this hotel. We found it incredibly well located, literally a five minute walk to the Blue Mosque, it was a beautiful thing to walk by every time we stepped out. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in every aspect. A quick warning, though: the free breakfast is all cold. Even... More

Super cute hotel. The staff were all extremely helpful and attentive. One of my friends ended up coming down with the flu while we were in Istanbul, and the staff kept asking if there was anything they could do to help. So sweet!! The hotel is also in an amazing location - within a 7 mins (top) walk from the... More

Amazing location - all of the main sites are within walking distance. The food and service were very good also. The rooms were absolutely spotless. The hotel provided pretty much all you could need, and also a lot of really good advice. We had not done much research before going to Istanbul, so their advice really made all the difference....
