Don't go to this hotel. I stayed there for a 4 days visit in May 2008. I arrived at the hotel at midnight and before I even set my feet on the hotel I was told that the hotel was overbooked and was shipped to their sister hotel, which was supposedly to be of the same quality as the Stone... more

We stayed in the Stone Hotel In March 2008 and were very impressed by both the staff and the hotel, so on our return visit to Istanbul with my elderly mother we decided to try it again. We were not disappointed, our rooms were beautiful, very clean and the service was excellent. The position of the hotel is great, walking... more

Fantastic location and our room had a birdseye view of the local mosque from our 4th floor room.Brilliant restoration done on a centuries old building with modern facilities. The guys running it were friendly and helpful. The outside courtyard and breakfast room were quiet sanctuaries to escape the fentic pace of this great city. more

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are very welcoming. However the fourth floor room we stayed in had a great view, but had objectionable smells coming out of the floor drain - which was only partly alleviated when one of the cleaners tuck a plastic bag in the hole! Staff are friendly and try to be... more

We stayed 2 nights and then retured at the end of our trip for 1 night. Hotel is very centrally located; it is clean and fresh. Breakfast is a typical Turkish buffet. Plenty of choices. Hotel staff are more than friendly, helpful, and willing to accommodate. We recommend this hotel highly. more

Stayed for the second time in this hotel and it is still as good. One tip however: don't let - like we did - talk you into a day bosphorus tour by the receptionists: it is expensive and for me the trip felt like a real tourist trap! In fact, although they assured me that we would spend most of... more

Loved the hotel: great location (walking distance to Blue Mosque, Kucuk Aya Sofya, Aya Sofya, Grand Bazaar etc, 5 min walk to a subway station), freshly refurbished rooms, great airport pick up service (FREE of charge, very well organized), helpful & friendly staff. Though the breakfast choice was rather poor by our standards, i was later told that this is... more

After the initial mix up with our room which was resolved this hotel proved to be a gem. Close to all the tourist sites and many restaurants and shopping places it is definitely a great base and place to stay in Istanbul. They were kind enough to even pack us lunch for an early morning trip. The hotel staff were... more
