We stayed here for two nights as the second part of a four-day trip to Istanbul. Having been in Beyoğlu in the city centre, we had deliberately picked the Radisson Blu Bosphorus as it is located away from the centre in Ortaköy. This district is regarded as a trendy area with bars, clubs and luxury hotels, such as the Radisson... More

I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. I had a very good experience with everything in the hotel and staff was very nice. The room was spacious and clean, the location right on the edge of Bosphorus was nice and the service for our meetings was good. On the other hand I didn't have the change to see... More

Arrived to find no trace of our reservation for a day room. This could have been down to the agency or Radisson. Good response from the duty manager who found us a room at the agreed price. Room itself was very tired(3rd floor) with little or no view of the adjacent Bosphorus. Lunch was Ok but fully priced .(It's the... More

What i liked is: Mr. özgür Sezek was very helpful and kind. He gives excellent advises and try to do whatever it is just to make the guests happy. What I dislike: The pillows are horrible, they are very bad and they might prevent me from getting back to this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. The hotel is located next to the Bosphorus so has plenty of panoramic views. Our room was spacious and modern and the breakfast was good (although extremely pricey). I... More

stayed in the hotel for 4 nights on business. As soon as I arrived there was a mix up with my reservation and it appeared to have been cancelled when in fact it wasn't ! Not that this is a bad hotel by any means but It just did not work for me. The location is quite picturesque as it is directly on the water but too far from everything this great city has to offer without the use of a taxi. The rooms seemed a bit outdated and the breakfast was just so so.... More

Dear MichaelR, thank you for taking your time to write a comment about us. Since our location next to the bosphorus is not convinient for you we would recommend you the Radisson Pera Hotel which is closer to the touristical attractions in istanbul. Best regards, Sonja Dive-Dahl More

As a platinum member I was awarded a room upgrade and junior suite facing Bosphorus, and this was really nice. Just that it is right above very lively restaurant terrace serving weekend late dinners and playing loud music till early mornings ;). I chose this hotel after a stay there last November. This time I was assigned to what they called their "new wing". This was outside the main building and up the drive on a very busy main street. Staying in Besiktas

Neighborhood Profile
Besiktas
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighborhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
