Very good location next to Agia Sophia and the tram station. Good breakfast with a very nice view - try to go early to get a convenient seat. The rooms were not properly cleaned though and we were locked outside when we returned late! We had to call the receptionist to get us in so ask what time they lock... More

Excellent location ! In Sultanahmet, next to the tram line. The hotel is tourist standard, nothing flash. But the rooms facing the city and the Mosque side are much more interesting. Rooms are not big but, they came with every thing; shower, TV, Fridge, desk, wardrobe, some come with big windows. The Roof top breakfast area is fantastic! Great views... More

We checked into this hotel after a disastrous experience with a airBnB flat rental. Our main deciding factor was the proximity of this place to the main attractions in SA, and in the end, this factor did save us a ton of time. The rooms are tiny by NAmerican standards -- our standard, not economy, room measured about 210 x... More

Overall, this is a very convenient place to stay in Istanbul. The location is fantastic, it's clean, reasonably friendly and the view from the breakfast room really starts your day right. Given other reviews, I had concerns that the rooms were small, so I wrote to the manager, who assured me we would have a nice room for our 4... More

Small but clean and close to Everything what we wanted to visit. For a couple more than enough space in the room and value for the money as well. The view from the breakfast area was amazing. Staff was really helpful and kind

seeing others review in trip advisor, even we booked it blindly,it was a grave mistake, this hotel is good for single bag-pack travellers but not for a family, the rooms are so tiny u can hurt ur feet with edges by walking in it, the wi-fi was very bad and when we complained, the hotel staff says that there's problem in... The hotel is small (and so are the rooms) buuuut it is really close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. You can directly find the tram station in front of its street. In the breakfast time, you can have the Blue Mosque view and it's very pretty... ^^

We stayed in the Twin room for 5 nights. The room is small but clean & comfortable. The breakfast room is also quite small so there were times when people who came slightly later have to wait for others to finish. Staff was friendly & very helpful with all our queries. However the best thing about this hotel is its... More

My family and i stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago. The location is amazingly great. It is very close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basillica Cistern and you can even walk to the Grand Bazaar. The room was okay, but i heard that it has been refurbished so i bet the room is great now.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
