This hotel sits perfectly in the heart of Istanbul. Conveniently located near every tourist site: Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Spice Bazaar with minor travel. Very small rooms, ostentatiously attractive decor, but such thin walls, you can hear what your neighbor is thinking...LOL! Also, be prepared to be awaken by roosters crowing (yes roosters); however, the morning call to... More

This hotel is pretty good all things considered, but I think I'd stay somewhere nicer when I go back to Istanbul. Pros: Location is excellent, breakfast is included and has many options, our room was comfortable, free wireless, friendly staff, laundry service was quick (husband ran out of undershirts) Cons: weird energy saving lights in hallway that turn off after... It’s all about location and this hotel is perfectly close to old Istanbul. Don't need to take a cab. The staff was nice and kind. The place was clean and had Wi-Fi. The rooms were small and so were the elevators and the beds hard. However, the food at this place is great. Great breakfast choices and great dinners. Close... More

We spent two nights pre- and post-tour with another couple, so not really price conscious. We had rooms overlooking the back both times, so we didn't have to put up with the noisy bar outside. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and of adequate size for tourists who spend most of their time outside.Location is close enough to the major attractions. Buffet... More

We stayed in this hotel with a tour for 2 nights and the location is great but the room is so small with a tiny closet. They have a small television set in the room and the bathroom sink does not have a stopper on it. The breakfast in the hotel was good but staff speaks very limited English. The... More

We stayed 2 nights each at the beginning and end of a tour. Our first room was small with 2 hard twin beds right by the elevator. We complained and our second stay we got a larger room with better padded twin beds away from the elevator. The food was good if you eat the typical Turkish diet. We do not,... More

Toured with Gate 1 Travel in April, 2013, and this hotel was on our itinerary at the beginning and the end. My husband and I took our own transportation to get to the hotel from the airport: Metro for a few minutes, then off and up to catch the "tram" a few more stops. Hotel is just a couple of... More

We stayed twice at the start and end of our tour and shared a room with our adult daughter. The hotel has dedicated 'triple' rooms with three single beds (not two and a roll out) My daughter certainly appreciated this as during our tour a number of more highly rated hotels didn't provide a proper bed. The room was small... More

Clean. Reasonably priced (we paid $175/night). Well located. Near Metro and Grand Bazaar. Comfortable, but rooms are small. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice small indoor pool. Also a whirlpool tub next to pool, but water was luke warm only.

Our visit to Istanbul was lovely, and this centrally located hotel was perfect! Loads of shops everywhere, convenient ATM across the street. Staff speaks good English! Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and food in the restaurant is delicious. Lots of shopping and major sites are nearby...Grand Bazaar is only a 7 minute walk! We'll stay there again!
