We had our son's wedding here. It was top notch in every way; from the view, food, customer service and even the perfect weather with a light breeze coming off the water. The Bride and Groom made a great choice when they picked the Ajia Hotel! I would recommend it for a vacation, wedding or any other celebration.

The hotel was quite a ways outside the city, so getting there and back was quite and adventure. This gave us the opportunity to try all kinds of public transport (tramway, bus, ferry, taxi). Unfortunately we were there before the complimentary boot transfer to the city was available (not in season). The hotel has a wonderful sight of the Bosphorus,... More

Absolutely lovely setting just by Bosphorus, on the Asian sid across from Sabanci Fondation - make sure you are fine with the location as it is far from the Old City and the traffic can be a nightmare but the place is absolutely worth it (and they can arrange for a private boat to drop you on the European side).... Stunning location, very modern interior with a modern refit that works- although some of the rooms look a little tired. Only 16 bedrooms right on the Bosphorous. Might have been a language issue but staff seemed strangely lacking in training or guest skills. Everything done with great reluctance and none of the usual wonderful Turkish hospitality..

My wife and I stayed at this yali in Istanbul for our anniversary. We stayed in the Bosporus Terrace Room, which had a fantastic view of the Bosporus. It is minimally decorated and had the most comfortable bed - it was one of the best nights sleep we had in years while living in Istanbul. We had dinner in the... More

The hotel is housed in a magnificent antique wood building by the famous Bosphorus. You can observe the sea gulls and boats passing by and the changes of color from your room or from the sitting area. We had a simply decorated yet elegant room, with comfortable bed with all the amenities. The restaurant was fantastic, food delicious and service... More

A lovely hotel, rooms are a great size, we had a balcony over looking the Bosporus and it was stunning - if you can secure one of these rooms. It doesn't have a spa or indoor pool but it is very peaceful, the staff are not imposing and you can completely relax. I certainly want to return for longer and... More

This is the worst "hotel" I've ever been, if you can call this a hotel... One night they just locked the door and close the hotel, because the receptionist decided to go to sleep, it was cold and rainy outside and in the middle of nowhere , had to knock in every window, till sleepy receptionist came out... After 45... More

This is not an ordinary 5 star hotel. If you are expecting a Spa center, an indoor pool ect, you are in the wrong place. Ajia is a perfectly located butique hotel. Quiet, calm and has the perfect scenery. Away from İstanbul's traffic & crowd. We stayed at he roof with bosporus view. Breathtaking. You should consider staying all day... More
