We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the Bosphorus with a seating area and a desk. Bathroom had a bath and a shower. Breakfast we had in the room. This hotel was amazing. more

Overall, our trip to Turkey was amazing but only because we changed the hotel and didnt stay there for more than 2 nights. I can say that the main problem is that the hotel is located on the Asian side of Istanbul plus the overall atmosphere of the hotel is not what me and my husband expected. It took us... more

Very chic boutique hotel right on the Bosphorus. The hotel even has a boat shuttle service to bring its guests to the other side on demand. Traditional Turkish Breakfast (for which they provide you the option to have in your incredible balcony without extra charge) was really good. more

Wow, what a fantastic boutique hotel this is. A beautiful old exterior and totally modern inside. We were upgraded to a mezzanine suite with a Bosphorous view, so had a living room and shower room downstairs, then a bed and stand alone bath upstairs - very luxurious. It's position on the Bosphorous at Kanlica was perfect, with great views from... more

After a dozen+ times in Istanbul, this was my first stay on the Asian side and I much appreciated the quietness and elegance of the place, as well as proximity of the Bosphorus and its fleet. If you are looking for a quiet stay at a luxury boutique hotel right by the Bosphorus, you won't find a better place. Elegant... more

My Istanbul-based friend warned me about staying on the Asian side prior to my visit(there's nothing there!) but the ride(traffic aside) was scenic and revealed another side to Istanbul that I otherwise would not have seen- chic neighbourhoods, families having a picnic in parks after a workday and dogs being walked by the Bosphorus... The shuttle boat to A'jia itself... more

It would have been nice, if there were some relaxing chairs outside in the sun to stay during the day-I missed that. more

We had two days in the centre of Istanbul staying at the excellent TomTom suites, we then moved to the Ajia for two nights after doing most of the tourist sights. Everyone inhaled deeply when we said we were at the Ajia, saying it would take an hour to reach via taxi. The first time we went by taxi from... more
