We were a bit sceptic to stay so far from the center of Istanbul, but Aija hotel turned out to be wonderful. The travel to and from Istanbul took prox 30 minutes and cost around 30TL with taxi/ferry (close to the locals) or 60 TL for a taxi all the way. It was actually good to get a bit away... More

I've been to Istanbul many times but never had such a wonderful yet unique experience as staying at the Ajia Hotel. Arriving by complimentary vintage launch to their jetty at the front of the hotel was an amazing start. The staff bend over backwards to accommodate your every need. The food is great, the location amazing and travelling to the... More

My wife and I stayed at Ajia as the second part of our honeymoon in Istanbul. The first half was spent in the old city, the second half the short distance up the river in Ajia. Yes, it does look as stunning in person as it does on their photographs. Yes, you do catch your own speedboat taxi to the... More

Went to this hotel for Brunch and was not disappointed. Great quality food and a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. Would definitely recommend it, absolutely lovely. More

A group of us, making use of a special offer, spent a couple of nights in the A'jia hotel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel itself looks very nice, and I can only imagine how fantastic it must be in the summer (it has a beautiful terrace on the Bosphorus). The rooms were nice, not out of this world, but... More

This year we stayed at this hotel. Its a really nice location and the service of this hotel is excellent. Also the meals at Ajia Restaurant taste really good and the breakfast is really nice. We are planning to go back at this place in May. We had a great time! R&A More

A fantastic location on the bosphorous with views over the city. Yes it takes a bit of time to get downtown but crossing the bosphorous in the hotels motor boat is part of the magic. and the rooms overlooking the sea are amazing - and having breakfast, lunch dinner or cocktails within a few feet of the water is magical.... My friend and I stayed two days and nights at the Ajia in late November and found it overpriced and awkward. It's overtly modern with a museum like lobby area made completely of polished granite and open to the ceiling, yet the staff was unfamiliar with the most basic elements of table service in their quite expensive restaurant. Even though... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, three of which were booked through a Luxury Link package. We knew from a friend's experience that the hotel was quite a trek from the sights in Istanbul, but were looking forward to spending time on the Asian side of the city away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hot spots.... My husband and I recently stayed here based on the web site and the hotel's reviews on this forum. In spite of many comments in the reviews about the location we did not pay sufficient heed to these. From the hotel it's a one-hour trip by taxi and public ferry then a 20 minute walk to the major attractions of... More
