Between the absolute disaster of a checkout..we are still trying to resolve the 120 dollars being charged for 2 candy bars my kids had from the mini bar, and the stuffed animal that was left in the room with my tie, which no one can seem to locate, our fault I know, this place was a complete dissapointment on the... This hotel was most disappointing. It was far from luxury. After seeing the awards on the wall dating back to 2005 etc we realized this once great place has way past it's hey day.. Our room & our children's room were really nothing special. There was a lovely view of the Bosphorous but that was about it. Everything felt "old"... More

Unfortunately I can only review as an event location and in this aspect can definitely give 5 stars. Located directly at the waters edge the location overlooking the European coast line is superb. The staff are highly professional and the quality of the food and drink was 1st class.

We booked this hotel for four nights for the second part of our week's stay in Istanbul. We had spent the first 3 nights in a hotel in the heart of the old city and the customer service we received in the first hotel was second to none and was in stark contrast to that which we received at the... This is a nice option if you're in Istanbul for a good couple of days (any less and you'll just be exhausted by all the travelling back and forth) and want to take it easy at a quiet location that's away (far away) from the hussle and bussle. That being said other than the lovely view and decent facilities, the... More

A lovely hotel and location, although if you want to spend time in the city it takes about an hour's travel to get there cheaply. First the bus (take bus nr 15 p) near the hotel to Uskadar, then a Ferry to Eminuno, then the Tram (T1) to the old area and Bazaar or you can go by private water... More

Never felt more like a princess! Getting up in the morning, watching dolphins jump in the river before breakfast! Beautiful rooms, great staff and service, and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was amazing! I am looking forward to going back there again!

Usually very pricey, I think we got lucky and got a nice attic room for a decent price. If you like architecture like we do, it is worth a visit just to see the place. Plus the location is superb as far as we are concerned: a bit far from the hustle and bustle. Oh yes, they have a complementary... More

While the A'jia is a boutique hotel given that it's small and quiet (except Saturday nights) with good service, it is most certainly not a 5 star establishment. I am fine with the hard-to-reach location and minimalist décor in the lobby. Even the loud crowd on the weekend did not bother me much. What matters most to me is my... More

Beautiful view over the Besphorous, and delicious supplemental breakfast I enjoy it a lot, nicely decorated room with lovely balcony perfect for couples where they can enjoy a cup of hot tea and enjoy the view of the other side . Helpful staff ,the only drawback is it's location away from the down town so if you have rental car... More
