This is a place to have dinner if you want a spectacular view. It is right next to the Galata Tower. Also, at the base around the side from the front of the hotel is the entrance to a awesome wine cellar. Both very cool and well worth going. Oh and in the plaza there is a great place to... More

We had a comfortable room and friendly staff. Yes like other reviews we noticed the noise outside; however, it is hard to expect quiet and choose to be in such a happening place. Be aware of this and it is as expected.

Value for money I wouldn't recommend. Sadly we were disappointed with some of the aspects of this hotel. We had booked a double room with a view through booking.com and when we arrived were given a twin room and certainly no view. The air conditioner blew straight onto us, so we chose to open the windows but the noise from... More

As many others, we visited the bar encouraged by the Lonely Planet guide to Istanbul, which remarked the amazing views of the venue. Although there is no complaint about this (the views are trully stunning) we were cheated by a barman who prepared two expensive cocktails WITHOUT alcohol in them. We knew the cocktails were going to be expensive, but... More

İ had to be very early morning in İstiklal Street and instead of making lots of hassle in the İstanbul traffic from our house to İstiklal in rush hour İ decided to search for a hotel. As we have very good experiences with Anemon hotel in Afyon İ was very pleased to find Anemon next to Galata Tower. The more... More

Stayed for 3 nights in early Sept 2012 - had suite 402 overlooking the Galata Square Room really nice - bit shabby chic / tired - but very serviceable Fantastic location - toddle down the hill - pick up tram - 10mins in to Sultanahmet (Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Tokapi Palace, etc) - at night, your located just off the... Fantastic views from the rooftop bar and restaurant. We only had a drink but they kindly sorted our free wifi for me even although we weren't staying in the hotel. The views - of Galata Tower and the Asian side of Istanbul - and of the wide sweep of the Bosphorous's meander around the Golden Horn of Old Istanbul's dramatic... More

I stayed here with friends for two nights and was thrilled when we were shown to our beautifully appointed, spacious rooms. The welcome at the reception boded well, and we were excited about the great location of this classic hotel. Unfortunately, the late night noise from the adjacent square and lack of soundproofed windows meant sleepless nights and cranky husbands.... More

Excellent location, very nice ambience, outstanding staff (at least the reception team was extremely friendly and helpfull). The Execurtive rooms are the nicer ones, but are located in front of the Galata Tower (loud till late and from early in the morning). The regular rooms face the Golden Horn (outstanding view) but are much smaller. From what they mentioned to... More

Great location, write in the heart of buzzing Beyoglu (5 mins walk up to the pedestrian Istiklal Caddesi). We had an amazing room overlooking the Galata Tower. The only downside was that the square is a meeting place for Istanbul's students and was very noisy still the early hours. The restaurant at the top of the hotel had amazing views... More
