The hotel is 5 m from the Galata Tower, in the heart of Galata, area, one of the most fascinating and lively parts of town,The Anemon is a small, cozy hotel in retro style. Rooms are small but confortable, except those in the middle which are more spacious. All have a beautiful view of the Galata Tower and the square. Breakfast... More

Stayed here for a weekend , and I would stay again. the location is really good in a nice and trendy neighbourhood, in between istikal caddesi for bars and restaurants, and galata bridge. the rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. the staff are helpful, and the views from the terrace -where breakfast is served- are amazing.

We stayed here as part of a three day stop on the way to Dubai. The hotel is situated literally 20 metres away from the Galata Tower, so if this is a location you wish to visit then it's extremely ideal. We arrived late on the Friday evening and instantly we developed an excellent rapport with the gentlemen on the... More

With it's location just on the footsteps of the galata tower this hotel gives you a great startingpoint for your stay in Istanbul. Within 5-15 min you can board a subway, tram, buss or boat that can efficiently take you to the other side of everywhere within the hour. Istanbul with its 14 mill residents is a crowded city that... We stayed here for 4 nights last week, staying in room 102, an executive suite. Some reviews have discussed and uploaded pictures of poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance but I saw no evidence of this. The staff were also courteous and pleasant, in our experience. It's a lovely hotel but our stay was spoiled but the incredible noise levels... More

Touching to Galata tower while you see both Golden Horn in your right and Bosphorus in your left and dining on the roof. I cant say much you need to live and spend some time. Hotel is in nice shape, clean and interesting. Small boutique type. If you are in Istanbul for a night this is the place to feel... More

I have been to Istanbul more than once but this was the best accommodation ever, an Art Deco Palace from the turn of the 19th Century. We were welcomed by the receptionist Murat who upgraded our reservation and gave us the room on the fourth floor with a view on the Bosphorus which I will never forget! My husband and... More

The room wasn't very big but it was enough for two of us. The bathroom was very nice, everything was clean with lots of toiletries. The room was at the back so we had a good view of Galata Bridge and the Golden Horn. The breakfast was really good, with a variety of foods available, and as it was served... More

I stayed at the Anemon Galata with my new wife on our honeymoon in May 2015. We arrived in the morning and our room wasn't quite ready yet, so the staff recommended we head upstairs to the incredible rooftop bar for the time being - wow, what incredible panoramic views! You get a great perspective of the city looking out... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for four nights at the end of April. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. We arrived late at night and I had e-mailed the hotel before to let them know when we would arrive and that it would be very late and possibly early in the morning. . We had requested... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
