With a heavy heart I give this review 4 out for 5 as it should have been 5. The hotel has wonderful staff that are very attentive but some people should not be working in front of house. We checked in on the Friday 28th August and we asked for an iron and ironing board to be sent to the... More

This was not a great experience: a pokey little room, with road noise AND the air conditioning hub for the hotel outside my window. Avoid the first few floors if you have a choice. On the plus side, the restaurant does great breakfasts with all sorts of hot and cold choices, including comb honey, cold meats, yoghurt and lots of... More

The guests are mixture of business and families. Families are mostly from Arabian countries. I suggest there for business travelers because it is not so close to touristic areas. The rooms are clean but not so much as expected. The breakfast is perfect. Specially for business travelers, Internet access is necessary but unfortunately it has additional cost but when you... As good as the 3 previous stays. However, they charge for wifi in the bedroom which is very unreasonable in 2015. Wifi in the lobby for one free hour is also not sufficient. On the positive breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The outside restaurant is great and the location is perfect if you need to be... More

Pros: Walkable distance from Metro station Close to Cevahir Mall (Most famous Mall in Istanbul) English speaking and courteous staff Excellent food at restaurant Con: I has a room facing the road so there was a lot of noise from the traffic outside.

Very nice hotel (stylish rooms, breakfast room, lobby). VERY good breakfast. Far from city center but close to metro station. However, Wifi is not free and it quite expensive :(. There are public PCs with internet access and the staff helped me on issuing and printing my boarding pass.

Dear Guest, Greetings from Divan City. It was a pleasure to stay with us. Thank you for your positive feedbacks about the hotel and staff. We had complaints about internet in terms of the fee, however high speed internet access and because of security reasons we are providing the service from a company. The hotel is surrounded about 50 acess... More

Wrote a review (Good one!) but posted it to the "wrong" hotel in the group. Look up the review under my name in the other place! Actually: may have to stay at the other place, to compare, now. ! Turns out that I need to add 46 more characters to meet the minimum review requirements. No problem. Simply, it took... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighborhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
