The location was ideal in relation to seeing the 'Old Istanbul' area of Sultanahmet, Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace to name but a few. It was also easy to get to the other side of the Bosphorus. The hotel was clean and the views from the rooftop terrace were great. The hotel is fine for a stay of one... more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. In fact, after the first night in a cramped room, we moved at no extra charge to a much larger room with plenty of room to spread out. The weather was cool so it didn't get too stuffy, but I wouldn't recommend our room, located on... more

This was a great hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the manager Mehmet. It is close to all the sites and good for shopping at the local Grand Bizarre. There are lots of good restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Istanbul is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. I hope to go again... more

This hotel was superb. From the terrace with the spectacular view to the cleanliness, quiet and most importantly the staff. They answered every query graciously and with utmost help to make our stay not only in the hotel, but in the city very pleasant. more

We (me 38 and my parents 67 and 66) stayed here for four nights. It's a very quiet spot at a great location. Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Agia Sophia and Tokapi Palace all within walking distance (public transport was further away). The staff was super friendly and breakfast was okay (even better than expected regarding earlier reviews). more

even though this is a 3 star hotel i was able to book the room cheaper than their advertised prices on hostelbookers.com. I have stayed here twice in 2005 & 2007 for 5 and 4 nites respectively on each trip. the room is very good value with satellite tv, minbar, telephone. free internet is in the lobby but you have... more

This is a wonderful hotel to see the best sights of Istanbul from - it is welcoming, warm, close to everything and a genuine pleasure to stay in. The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble - use their travel agent (remember to negotiate the initial rate), the rooms are good, not large but then no rooms are... more

This was a nice little European hotel. The room was tiny, and a bit dark, but very clean and comfortable. You can't beat the location -- about a five minute walk from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. And the staff was fantastic -- really helpful and very friendly. This is a great, no frills place to stay in... more
