3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The hotel is clean, which is the most important thing really. But when is comes to service its not the best, only one receptionist spoke english we had to wait for her to come in order to communicate with them. The location is alright, its really noisy at night. The view from my room was horrible. Basically i wouldn't recommend... More

I stayed on Point Taksim for three nights, the room was small but clean, the location is excellent, very near to Mitro and in the middle of Taksim where all the shops, restaurants and cafe`s. The breakfast was normal, the room service is excellent. The WIFI is slow.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful. The base of our bed was broken/ warped so the mattress was sagging in the middle, and hence sleep quality was not great. Shower was inside the bath, not what I expected for their junior executive suite. Had 2 fabulous massages at the hotel spa

Location is great. Right by the Taksim square. The room is on the small side but served its purpose very well. The beds were very soft and I slept deeply! Would return again. The famous baklava place is close by.

The location of Point Hotel is in the Middle of Taksim square and very near to Istiklal street, in addition to its proximity to the seaport where most of the boat trips start from. Grand Bazar is a ten minutes drive away. The rooms are convenient and the food is good.

Location is very ok, public transportation and shopping area in close vicinity. A couple of small restaurants nearby. Rooms not remarkable and small, but clean and ok. Checkin/checkout quick and efficient. Breakfast ok in choice and quality, but crowded. Too much guests and no free place available indoors. The outdoor terrace is convincing with it's nice view. Too hot during... More

Upon Checkin, I was asked for a Credit Card for incidentals. What was off that the Card was not pre-authorized using a machine but rather a copy of both sides of the card was taken and kept. After checkout, they did not return or destroy the copy. I was called by my Credit card company a few days later to... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
