We stayed here but you may use the roof top free of charge for a beautiful 360 view of Istanbul, Turkey (European side). Great hotel, small rooms, good food, excellent staff! Super location, we were able to walk to most of the events and sights.

Anyway, long story short, the hotel has problems charging my Amex card and the whole process just so annoying since the card is perfectly ok to use...so all those troubles just because they don't know how to charge Amex cards...not to mention the staff calling us our room number instead of our names...just really bad training here...

The Marmara Pera was probably a gorgeous hotel in its heyday. Unfortunately, it is showing its age and it's service does nothing to compensate.
