Stayed there at the end of April 2009. The rooms were clean and quite ok.No noise from the street as I was in the backyard. A bit of noise from the school near by- didn't bother me. Nice hotel, with a VERY POLITE and HELPFULL personal. Realy, personal in this hotel is very helpfull! Breakfast every day was the same "complect", but it was normal-standart breakfast. I stayed at Hotel Tayhan with a sports team who were competing in Istanbul. We selected the hotel as it advertised resident parking which was essential for the 3 minibuses our squad had. As it turned out it has a tiny lane which you would be lucky to be able to park a small car in and as a result... more
returned from the hotel very recently, hotel is quite nice,friendly staff, nice public areas, rooms are ok, breakfast is basic, it is ideal for use as a base, the downside is the area the hotel is situated is a bit run down, you will need to rely on taxis quite a lot, the walk into sulthanhamet is about 20minutes and... more
