We stayed in April 2014 in Almina. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and for two persons we had everything what we needed. We enjoyed the roof terrace with view(hopefully they replaced the garden furniture). We recommended this hotel, the price and quality was reasonable.

We stayed at Almina Hotel from 27th June to 4th July 2014. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and everything you needed was provided. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was amazing! Variety of fruits, bread and cheese and lovely fresh coffee and juice. Every day something extra special was on offer. Something for everyone.

First off- there seemed to be random things added onto our bar bill, tried to charge us for wine we never had, think they just put a room number to whoever was on the terrace! Saying that, Nazmi and Mehmet gave superb customer service, and were very helpful. Limited English, but that's our fault, should have learnt some Turkish before... More

Pros: The hotel is well located. The breakfest is wonderful. The dayshift staff are very nice and helpful, special thanks to Nuri :) Cons: The rooms are very small, can't accomodate 2 adults and 2 kids. The rollerbeds are a catastrofy and durty. The nightshift receptionists were not the best, basically almost saying please don't disturb me. Becareful from any... More

This small hotel is in a great location, sited in the old town and near to all the fantastic sights that Istanbul has to offer. We were in walking distance of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Cisterns and lots of restaurants. The nearest tram station is Sultanahmet which was easily walkable. The tram system took us around the... More

This hotel offers clean rooms, mostly kind staff, a decent breakfast and proximity to the Sultanahmet District. The terrace over looks the convergence of 3 waterways- Sea of Marmara, the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus Strait. I could sit for hours in the nice patio furnishing watching ferries and cargo ships. I found it truly mesmerizing. It was a 10... More

My husband and I stayed at the Almina Hotel for five nights and it was perfect. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Everyone speaks very good English and the service is one of the best we've ever experienced. All requests are fulfilled promptly and with a marvellous attitude. The rooms were handsome and bright, and everything from the beds... More

Rooms are tiny and the beds are very soft. We had to change a room because the double bed was just sinking when we laid down to check it. Single beds were barely okay - they should really change the beds in the hotel. Staff is okay, although they offered to do our laundry (14 pieces) for $60 and claimed... More
