Hotel rooms are nice and comfy, clean and there is a safe. Breakfast was of average quality... Lots to choose from (mostly cheese, meats and eggs) but a little crowded in the buffet area. Nice little hotel near old city. Good location for all the old sites of Istanbul!

The hotel staff were brilliant they made our holiday, efficient and friendly reception especially from Ayse and Atilla and then our bar tender Erdagon on the great roof terrace with views over the sea. Very comfortable beds and nice clean rooms though noisy at night (don't forget your earplugs) Close to the square for the main sites, though the streets... More

The location is good even though the alley is a little deserted at night , The best rooms are in the 3rd floor, the first and basement are just a nightmare! way too loud, it feels like you are sleeping in the street. The staff was very accommodating, and I will stay there if I were to go to Istanbul... More

Really adviseable hotel in the middle of the old town, close to all historical attractions of Istanbul (to walk). You get: - roof terrace (common in Istanbul), but have opportunity to take your breakfast there - nice breakfast - free WIFI - central position for sightseeing the old town (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Tonkapi palace), but quiet - tram is... When I travel (a lot) ...convenience and value supersede luxury and amenities. But there is a fine line, where for a bit more money, you get a lot more. Almina has some good qualities. But the poor ones out number them. I don't care about the size of the room, etc as I don't spend much time there. And the... More

Hello lilliup, I would like to thank you for your feedback. This hotel has new management and new team. We are investigating every part of the hotel to serve better for our guests. Unfortunately I disagree with you about our location. If we compare to other areas of Istanbul, our location is not surrounded by hills. It is 5-10 minutes... More

One of our business partners from U.K. was staying at this hotel with his family,so by this occasion we have visited this hotel and our friend and had a breakfast here and lateron some drinks at the terrace cafe.First of all, while approaching to the hotel,it looked like that hotel was closed. In fact, due to the hot summer season, they cooked down the... I stayed for three nights in late May with a friend and we loved it here. We had a twin room and the beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom spotless and we had a windowbox which opened onto a garden/lawn. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best part was the rooftop terrace with the incredible views of the... More

We stayed in April 2014 in Almina. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and for two persons we had everything what we needed. We enjoyed the roof terrace with view(hopefully they replaced the garden furniture). We recommended this hotel, the price and quality was reasonable.

We stayed at Almina Hotel from 27th June to 4th July 2014. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and everything you needed was provided. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was amazing! Variety of fruits, bread and cheese and lovely fresh coffee and juice. Every day something extra special was on offer. Something for everyone.
