Just come back from this hotel last night after a 4 day break with a BA deal. You're always unsure when you're going to a new town, with new hotels, but I like taking my chances and I am so glad I did. I emailed the hotel before hand to ask if they could arrange a collection from the airport... More

My friend and I booked this place through Expedia after reading reviews on here, and we were very happy with our choice and the rate. The location was ideal for us as Sultanahmet is the hub of the historic areas and you can easily get to the other parts of the city by train or foot. Regarding the hotel, it's... More

We love this hotel. It is tucked away from the crowds in Sultanahmet, but is still less than a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. Spectacular rooftop garden, great staff, and good location. What else could one ask for.....perhaps a more comfortable bed? Otherwise, absolutely perfect place to hunker down and enjoy one of the most incredible cities in... More

The main 'plus' for this hotel was the close proximity to the main historical sites which made it a great starting point to explore this fantastic city. The taxi driver had a bit of trouble finding the hotel so you may want to have a map at the ready to avoid unnecessary detours! The hotel reception is a bit dated.... More

We found a cheap online deal and were extremely happy with what we got. Quality was great, breakfast was simply, but good. Friendliness of staff was fantastic. Location is a cool few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Haiga Sophia and the Sultanahmet tram stop. A pleasant walk to all other attractions in the old city (and even over the... More

organised by BA this hotel was a gem, we had a twin room on the fourth floor next to the kitchen, no noise, it was so quiet, the most comfortable room for ages. The breakfast was just excellent and the fresh squeezed orange juice out of this world.Mehmet the steward was so helpful as was Dibel in reception, actually all... More

We had 3 nights at the Almina last week and once we'd found it, tucked away in the back streets, we appreciated its position, so close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofya and Topkapi Palace. Our room was on the top floor and had a very interesting view. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent choice and there was freshly squeezed... More

We have just returned from a three-night stay at the Almina Hotel. What struck us most was how friendly and helpful all the staff were, particularly Sibel on reception and Mehmet, who was always available to offer assistance, advice and numerous cups of tea! The lady who organises breakfast was lovely, making sure that the food was constantly replenished and... More

We spent 3 days here last week and the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, especially my 3 year old. The hotel is very close to all the major attractions, good wifi connection and within easy reach of a tram station. All the staff were very helpful especially Mehmet, Feramoudi and Cibel. They provide... More
