The rooms are small and dark. We were there with a group. Many people had rooms that the a/c didn't work. We had the staff in the room 3x to fix the a/c. They never could get it working. Customer service is terrible. They just don't care. For the price there are many other hotel that are better in Istanbul.... more

The best thing about the Oran is its location. It is a short walk away to the tram stop but best of all, it is a walkable distance for most folks (I'm in my 60s) to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Topkapi and the Galata Bridge...in one day if you aren't a heavy shopper.
