I spent about two weeks at this hotel, and I considered myself lucky. I had business nearby, and I was able to walk there and back morning and night on the seashore without any problem, enjoying the sea breeze and the serene park scenes. The start of each day was splendid with a luxurious layout of a buffet for breakfast... More

Having booked online for 6 nights and provided credit card details,we presented passport identification on arrival, as is normal practice everywhere. Inexplicably, however,on the very first day, as we passed the reception desk, our bill was given to us and full advance payment was demanded. We duly signed along the dotted line. The indelicate manner in which the bill was thrust in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights- overall the location is good...close to the main mounuments. Room is small but clean and comfortable and had a fantastic view. The staff especially Orkhan at the front desk was really helpful. Overall a good stay.

this hotel is very old, warm and romantic. the view of the golden horn was lovely.. they upgraded our room to a suite so it was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very small with a separate shower box. The breakfast was served next to the entrance, outdoor so the setting was cheerful and nice -not the typical basement breakfast... More

This hotel was quiet, no frills, but comfortable just like my new york apartment. It was cute and nicely decorated. The view of the golden horn from our terrace was also quite nice. The breakfast was ok and the staff was very friendly. I was hoping for a bit more of a bathroom. It was a little shocking at first... More

The Daphnis hotel is a cute and historic hotel that's right next to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. It consists of 100 year old rum houses that were converted into a hotel. Despite the historical value, the hotel is equipped with great wifi. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. I was not tripping over my suitcase all the time. The rooms... More

Hotel Daphnis, one side facing the Golden Horn while the other Fener Street, is a combined building of 4 Rum houses renovated according to the original pattern. It is a boutique hotel with 16 rooms each one decorated differently. Everything in the building, from the kalemisler which are hand painted colored figures on the walls to the old style wooden doors, floor and ceilings are kept as original. Old water pumps, stained glass windows, marble sinks are still being used. There are 16 rooms consisting of 3 suite and 13 double bedrooms in which AC, minibar, telephone, shower, hairdryer, kettle and cable TV are provided in default. The hotel is just face to face with Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarchate and 10 minutes away from both Taksim and Sultanahmet districts.
