We stayed in Sumengen for four days in a wonderful room at the top floor with view over the Bosporus. The staff was very friendly and available for help 24 hours a day. Hotel was a bit hard to find in the middle of narrow streets, but rooms were very comfortable and clean. Internet in the lobby was nice surprise. Breakfast was very well. more
Having stayed in istanbul many times, experiencing a wide variety of welcomes, I can state that our stay at The Sumengen Hotel was fantastic. The hotel was small and had a friendly atmosphere. Great views over the Marmara sea and the Bosphoros from the breakfast room. We loved this hotel, booked last minute and we were so happy with our choice. Our room was huge, so nice after being abroad to stay at a hotel that actually felt like home.
