I was lucky to find a 'deal' on the internet for this hotel, as we paid a very reasonable price for 3 nights. It is right by Agia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and the fabulous Basilica Cistern. The hotel is small, clean and friendly, with nice rooms ensuite. A little on the Old fashioned side but I like that!!. A very nice... More

My wife and I (55&45) stayed at the Zeynep Sultan for 5 days. The staff was very helpful, the hotel terrace where breakfast was served and were one could purchase some drinks was very nice with a view of the Hagia Sophia. The location was great, as it was less than a 10 minute walk to the sites in Sultanahmet.... More

I agree with other comments that this is not a luxury hotel, so people who expect that, should look somewhere else. However - if you pay rates they have (and those are really good rates) why would you except a luxurious place? I think this small, boutique hotel is a wonderful place to stay and I do recommend that place... More

The hotel was clean and centrally located in the sultanahmet area! Just 2 mins walking and you're in Haghia Sophia. Only minor drawback is the Mosque on the back of the hotel. It can be quite bothersome if you're tired and need more sleep. Overall staff was great and also the breakfast! More

We stayed with my husband at Zeynep Sultan Hotel in April 2012. You should understand, that this hotel is not a luxury place and you won't find there huge rooms and goldish interiors. Our room (double) and bathroom was very simple and small, but extremely clean. We were absolutely glad with what we have. Breakfast was good: fresh bread, cucumbers,... More

This hotel is an ancient building. There is an ancient church under the hotel. It is been excavated at this time,. The rooms are small and basic, the breakfast is plentiful consisting of salami, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, cereal, coffee and tea. The staff is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to help you find what you're... More

I was attracted by the high 'value for money' Tripadvisor rating. I wasn't disappointed. Perfectly comfortable hotel in old Istanbul: Only 5 mins walk from Aya Sofya and an ideal base for seeing the old city. Very friendly staff, with good English. I paid £27 per night (single occupancy of a double room, which was quiet and a reasonable size)... More

If this is your first time in Istanbul, likely you will want to be in the "old city", the area around Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. This hotel is an excellent choice as all of those are within an easy walk. Also in walking distance are the Grand and Spice Bazaars (well, the latter is in walking... More

Perfectly clean, tidy, quiet, lovely staff, nice view of Zeynep Sultan Camii and Hagia Sophia while eating a nice breakfast. We were able to walk to almost everything. It is a very touristic neighborhood, but, really, if you are a tourist interested in seeing historical monuments such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Basilica Cistern, Archeologic...
