Hotel beyaz saray is an amazing hotel with great service friendly helpful staff and a perfect location. We had an 8 day stay which was very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location is convenient close to all transportation and within reasonable walking distance to most tourist attractions. The hotel offers a good variety of foods for breakfast... More

Good hotel with a great location. Very close to the Grand Bazaar, shops & tram routes - we even managed to walk to the Bosphorus after getting lost. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service of the staff handling the breakfast rush was awesome! The food was good and relatively inexpensive.

Beyaz seray was a decent hotel with great rooms. Location wise it is more closer to the grand Bazaar, just a 5 minute walk. The other key attractions such as Blue Mosque or Aya Sofia needs a taxi to get to.

Had a pleasant 4-night stay at the Hotel Beyaz Saray. Our 2nd floor room had a lovely view of the Beyazit mosque, and while the room was starting to show its age, housekeeping did a good job of keeping it clean during our stay. The breakfast buffet was okay, with a pretty wide selection of cold cuts, cheeses and breads.... More

We were upgraded to superior room... I wouldn't see in this case normal room. Needs refurbishing and cleaning. Quite well equipped and good breakfast. Nothing special at all... but not so bad. I could unfortunately hear all the city mess on the street, cause we got the room with street view...

I stayed here only for 1 night. I booked a single room but hey gave me a big room, nice and clean. Location is good, close to Grand Bazaar and Old City. Breakfast was very good for Istanbul. Hope to stay here again.

We have been here for 5 days, and the only thing good about this hotel is the the location. Let's start with the breakfast. Everything that was supposed to be warm, is not. Even when refilling the eggs, they came in cold. The bread was dry, pancakes was cold (not even warmed), and the milk that was supposed to be... More

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighborhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighborhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
