This was a nice small hotel just off the main tourist area - you can walk to Istikal street in a few minutes. The Room was nice and bright. Very high ceilings and very clean. They provide bath robes and slippers which was a nice touch. There is a roof terrace which offers some good views across the city too... More

This is an ideally situated hotel just a few metres from the Istiklal Caddesi shopping street that links Taksim Square with Sishane Metro Stations and is close to the 'Hard Rock Cafe'. The hotel is on a steep side street and despite directions in 'turkish' from the hotel website and a map, the taxi driver still needed to phone the... More

Small hotel just off main tourist areas around Taksim square. Rooms very well done, clean, bright and nice little free extras like robes and slippers. Breakfast is simple two choices but always with fresh produce and eggs done how you like. Staff warm and courteous very happy to help. Istanbul is full of people trying to get you to spend... More

Good area. Previous reviews helpful eg: bring something to show taxi driver where hotel is. Friendly reception who booked a favourite restaurant for us, lent us travel plug and ran to collect us with suitcase when we arrived. Our taxi driver phoned hotel from airport for directions. (Taxi cost 42TL so about £10. ) Every taxi driver is on the... More

Good location just 2 min from the middle of Taksim, two metro stops almost at the same distance. We came by metro and dragged our luggage from the metro station by the tunnel Şişhane station, the other metro station close to is Taksim. Hotel old and beautiful well maintained, boutique type. A la Cart breakfast included.

Tardy review of a wonderful stay in May 2014. Arrived by taxi coming off of a cruise ship, & we were invited to a full, outstanding, breakfast even though check-in was not until much later. The ladies operating the hotel were extremely helpful with check-in, recommendations of restaurants, and even with flagging down the taxi upon our departure. While the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights in December 2014. It was in a great location--just slightly away from the intense bustle of Istikal street, but a short walk to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. And easy to get around to other parts of the city. It was quiet and peaceful and felt very private;... More

This is a great hotel right in the heart of where anyone visiting Istanbul should stay. A historic building that is newly renovated. The service was excellent. This included a move to a different room (the back rooms are a bit more quiet than the front rooms), very clean, a nice breakfast, with tea in the afternoon when you want... More

The hotel is located in a central location near taksim square. Very noisy neighborhood but I didn't get much noise in the room so that was cool. The room was small with a modern decor. My only complaint would be from the receptionist on the night I checked in who seemed slightly condescending when on my first night twice I... More
