The stay at Coliseum was a birthday gift to my son and his girlfriend - they spent there 6 nights and absolutely loved it! The rooms are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was a feast, and even for one of them, who is a vegetarian, there was plenty of choice. The views from the window of... More

Just back from 4 night stay at the Coiiseum. Fine little spot, close to all the action in Sultanahmet, clean, polite and helpful staff who could teach hoteliers in the UK a few things about how to run a friendly joint. My room was certainly bijou, but well equipped and grand for my purposes, breakfast a decent spread, usual Turkish... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights in september 2014. We found the hotel via Internet, and we decided to book it based only on the positive reviews we read about it. All our expectations were met: great location, very friendly staff, very clean and secure rooms, affordable price. It also has a nice rooftop terrace from which... More

I stayed here alone for three nights and got a free upgrade to a double bed on the top floor with an amazing view. Mr Mehmet and his wife went out of their way to not only arrange show tickets for me but I also got a free guided tour of Hagia Sophia and surrounding areas, all the way to... More

My experience at this hotel was the best I have had the entire trip so far. The staff has been amazing the rooms are immaculately kept and well appointed. The staff truly makes you feel at home. The location could not be better from the rooftop bar you can see the Blue Mosque, and in the other direction you can... More

I am currently in the Mongolian Charity rally from London to Ulaanbaatar Mongolian, immediately after explaining my needs to the manager he made sure I had the most secure parking possible. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are very well appointed. I do not think you could find a better place to stay in Istanbul. You are within... More

What I want to say is,that there are many nice hotels, but it is so rare when owners treat their clients so warmly and sincerely as in Coliseum hotel! This hotel is a perfect example of a small private hotel: cosy, comfortable, with good breakfasts, in a very centre and with such warmest atmosphere, that u really feel like home and want... More

We stayed five nights with two other families. The location is very good, the staff friendly, the rooms are small but very clean, the breakfast was ok. And we spent every evening on the terrace planning the next day. Thank you, again!

Lovely small hotel right on the doorstep of all the main must see sights of Sultanahment. The management and staff were excellent, warm and friendly. They saw to all our needs and offered excellent advice regarding the area. They also had great senses of humour and provided many a laugh, especially Salih and Mehmet. The hotel was exceptionally clean and... More
