Very simple hotel but the price is right for a very quick stay. Two stars only because the rooms are very, very simple. The staff were cool and very friendly. Loved the morning breakfast on the veranda. Close to all he main attractions like blue mosque ... Etc.

This is such an excellent hotel with an even better location. It's a few minutes walk to major attractions like the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.Their roof terrace gives you a marvelous view of the Bosphorous Strait. The rooms were clean and neat. It's a pretty sleepy area during the day but the pace does pick up come sunset. You... More

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and got to know the manager quite well, my luggage had been lost by Turkish Airlines and he went out of his way to help me by calling everyday to see if it had been found. He genuinely sympathized with me as though I were a family member not just a tourist and... More

It's extremely comfortable and feels like home after a while. The breakfast on the roof with a view of the Bosphorous started our days there. The hosts are friendly and warm. Plus, it's located in the heart of the Old City and all the major sites are at a walking distance. No one shall regret staying here. Missing Istanbul!

I stayed for 2 nights during a business visit to Istanbul. I would say the hotel was decent and good enough for my purpose. I went there during off season, and the weather was at its lowest point, so couldn't expect much from them. Quality of rooms and service was very good at this price.

The view on the Bosporus, Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia are great from the roof terrace. Friendly and service minded staff. Its not the best and cleanliest hotel in the area, but considering the A+ location affordable prices and friendly staff its great value for money.

This is a budget Hotel very close to everything. Having a beer & a feed outside on the street - wisks you back in time, cobble stone street, constant stream of holiday makers walking up & down till the early hours. Everyone seems HAPPY. The staff & owner make you feel very comfortable. This place is situated a very short... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
