we had a pleasant stay here, (4 nights). It served its purpose as we only really wanted somewhere to sleep. As much as i`d like to say we would stay again, i can`t. The receptionist, mehmet, was very helpful but he didn`t really have much to work with. Unfortunately we had bad weather so things (electrical) didn`t work in our... More

Sadly we hadn't done adequate research and needed somewhere last minute to stay. The property took the total fee at the time of booking and when we arrived they said they needed cash as a guarantee in turkish lira. We had no choice or would have been out on the streets. After explaining it would be in our account in... More

It's the same hotel as Cozy suites, same building same staff, so I suggest you read the reviews for that hotel as well. I wouldn't give them more than one star, it's dirty and it always smells of smoke because they smoke inside, when we've been there the light up in the stairs was broken and it was really dangerous,... We made reservation 2 months in advance, few weeks before arrival they charged the full amount to the credit card. When we arrived to the hotel, at night, the demmand full payment in cash, or we won't get a room, and the manager will replenish the money on the card. We were calling several times per day for the last... More

We booked two rooms at this hotel and we arrived there after a long day when the Taksim area was closed, to find out that we they did not have any room available, although we had paid for it. The staff at the desk just informed us that they are fullt booked and that there is nothing they can do.... More

The hotel has a great location and that is one of the only positive things I can say about it. My husband and I had a balcony room, we were made to pay in cash as soon as we arrived which I was not aware of and had planned to pay by card. The room was dirty, huge stains on... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
