It is a nice hotel just next to Bhosphorus bridge. It has a a beautiful garden. There is the noise of the road but windows are good and it is quite inside the room. I would rate the hotel with 5 star if the waitress didn't leave the breakfast area to have her own breakfast in the kitchen.

Our stay at the Symbola was sadly all too brief, as we had to cut our stay short (not related to the Symbola in any way). The staff were absolutely fantastic, allowing us to check-in early to a delightful room. After a 24 hour journey, this was a sight for sore eyes. The breakfast the following morning was delicious and... More

We arrived there by noon and it was sunny. First barrier, plenty of stairs! Someone rushed to get our suitcase down and we were welcomed pleasantly. The room looked nice, I loved the design. You cannot say its luxury, but looks like a classic/modern room. The view to the garden was cute and within 5 minutes you can reach Ortokoy... More

There is nothing wrong with this place. Their staff are very friendly. You have to walk quite a bit to get there, otherwise you can use bus or taxi. The breakfast is very limited. Internet is fast. And rooms are fairly big.

Initial impressions. Bad: 50 metres from hellishly busy main road, very noisy. Built on a hillside, so more steps than a Himalayan goat trail. No bar. Good: Friendly helpful staff, quaint 'boutique' rooms, nice (albeit VERY terraced) gardens

Lovely Hotel, clean and nicely furnished, great terrace, friendly staff, good breakfast, BUT the hotel is only 100m from the motorway that runs over the bridge to Asia ! Sitting on the (very beatiful) terrace feels like picknicking on a highway.. if you dont mind that definitely worth it.. I had a room with no window which was cool for... More

Overall the place was great to stay. The location was perfect but just a few minutes walk downhill to get there. There are also more good hotels that can be found in that area but on the main street. lots to eat and shop just a few minutes away! The hotel itself felt like home. The cook provided us with... Great boutique hotel with lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly exquisite decoration. Great gardens, fresh and lovely food... We could have anything we wanted to eat and anytime we wanted. One should go and see it for herself to understand its full extent! The manager and the owners are the greatest hosts ever!!! And the locations; it is simply central and has a... More

The hotel is a new converted wooden old house in Orotakoy. Staying at the hotel you will never feel it is a hotel, it is like a home, the lady owner Mrs. Semiah, and the manager who happens to be her niece are very nice and helpful, and they make you feel taht you are staying in their house not...
