The Divalis Hotel is ideally situated in the old city and very close to the main attractions, many restaurants as well as the metro to go further afield. It is a small, family owned and run establishment and as such the staff members are extremely helpful, friendly and eager to assist providing personal and warm attention to all one's needs.... More

I stayed at this hotel first with a group, then two days afterwards on my own. It is a great location --close to the Blue Mosque, Archaeological Museum, Markets and Restaurants. One note: if you have mobility challenges, this is not the place for you--no elevators. The staff will help you with luggage, so moving your suitcases is not an... More

Located a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, the hotel is very convenient. The staff are friendly and do everything they can to ensure guests have a good stay. The deluxe room and bathroom were excellent. We would return here and recommend this hotel.

This hotel's location is great (easy walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque), but it is therefore noisy on the street side, so bring earplugs. Staff was charming and accommodating. My only complaint is that the hotel accepted bookings for our group of 12 women for twin-bedded rooms, which cost more. When we arrived, several women had been assigned to... More

Our group of 13 women absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms aren't large but they're a great size for Istanbul, they're fresh and seem to be newly decorated with very good bathrooms. Breakfast was fabulous too. Altan took care of our group booking and ensured that our stay at the hotel was as good as it could possible be. We... More

What a great place, location could not be better, close to old city. I loved my small but quiet, spotless room on the top floor (room 110) with water views. Less than 5 minute walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi, Hippodrome and Museum of Archaeology (amazing). Service was awesome. Arzu, the manager, always had a smile on her face,... More

Divalis hotel is a nice little hotel in the heart of Istanbul. By heart I mean it's close to Hagia Sophia, which must be considered the heart of this enormous place. We were in Istanbul for a wedding of some friends and for a little bit of sightseeing on the side. The hotel is conveniently placed on a pretty quite... More

Room 110, which is room 10 on the top floor and is the room some reviewers rave about, is quite small. Roomy enough for one. A squeeze for two. The roof terrace isn't connected to or part of room 10 (110) as you have to walk across the top floor landing to reach it. In warmer months, this is where... More

A very relaxing, comfortable and friendly place to stay only a few minutes walk from a lot of the major historic sites, and the tramway for further exploring Istanbul. OK, it may not be for those who want a five star monster palace, but it has all the advantages of a well looked after, well managed small hotel - it's... More
