First, the location. Just 5 min walking in between Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. The road is a bit uphill, but Istanbul is all up- and downhill, so nothing strange. The room was big enough for 2, clean, comfortable and nicely Turkish style decorated. The breakfast room has an inner courtyard as well, so you can choose if eating... More

Super boutique hotel. Excellent service, thoughtful staff (Helen was amazing). She helped us book our trip to Pammukale and Konya from Istanbul. Rooms as advertised. Breakfast lovely especially when eaten in the garden. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Clean, safe, great location, nice staff, new hotel. The reason I booked this hotel is because it was the most reasonable hotel with 2 rooms that I could find. Unfortunately hotels in Istanbul seemed expensive. Wr were 3 adults (one couple and me) and we wanted 2 different rooms. The cheapest option was a family room with 2 bedrooms, joined... More

We stayed there in March 2014, sadly not the experience we were hoping for. The positive, the room was clean as was the breakfast area, but that's all the positive. The transfer from Ataturk Airport was not arranged even after a phone call to confirm it on the day from the airport, this left us at the mercy of the... More

Staff cannot be helpful enough, for example going up the road to find newspapers to stuff soaking shoes. Not the most attractive location, but superbly placed for major sights. Interior of good standard. Breakfast fine, remember to ask for an omelette if you want one; we were only offered one on the last morning. Rooms comfortably sized and clean.

Well designed and decorated small hotel in Sultanahmet district. It is within 3min walking distance from Blue Mosque and Agia Sofia. Staff and owners are friendly, helpfull and hospitable. Some rooms have a terrace with nice seaview. Good breakfast. Good value for money. I do recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at the Ersari Hotel for 5 nights in September 2013. This was our first trip to Istanbul. The hotel was in the old section of the city bordering the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. A convenient location for visitors who can walk to all of the old city attractions. The hotel was... More

This is a very small hotel, nicely refurbished. Our room had a tiny balcony, that we could just squeeze on to, but had a great view of the sunset over the Bosphorus. It's a short walk from the Blue Mosque and other classic sites. It's an area of mainly residential housing, with some very old wooden houses (one right opposite),... More

Had misgivings about hotel as neighbourhood a little run down, but once inside the hotel, found staff to be very friendly and helpful and hotel and rooms clean. Location is wonderful - just steps to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Any questions about the city were answered by very knowledgeable young woman working at front desk. Our departure... More

Dear Mr. Armand. Thank you for your review. As I said you in our hotel you made a reservation on 2 Standart Double Room therefore you had no seaview and a terrace in the room. Our photos are not false. We no need to do it. Any guest who want to see our rooms I can show in any time.... More
