I've spend 5 nights in this hotel, and not sure to do this again! Its an old small hotel near Taksim square, where is one of the tourist hubs in Istanbul. You can walk to the metro, bus station in 5 minutes and taxi is very easy to get. The rooms are tidy and clean, but too small to move! even... More

The location is very good, clean safe aria, the staff are good very helpful. But the hotel itself hasn't been maintained carefully! Lcd is there but does not work, hair drier is there but does't work, rooms are small. Low quality shampoo , breakfast had nothing special to offer, will not go there again

I have been to too many 4 star hotels in Istanbul and this hotel was by far the worst! Upon on our arrival, we booked two double rooms and we were given two small twin rooms where we did not even have the space for our bags and the mattress smelled to the extent that I could not sleep on... More

It was the worst hotel ever and I will explain why 1- the rooms wasn't that nice to deserve the money I paid 2- TV never had a signal 3- never had a wifi in my room and every time I asked they said they were fixing the problem but they never did. 4-dry cleaning. OMG I'm a Turkish girl... More

Stay at the Kervansaray hotel in Istanbul during my visit to Turkey, the hotel is positioned very close to the TEXSIM SQUARE which has become the center of all news coming out of Turkey however what we see on TV is not what is really on the ground, and anyone wishing to travel to Turkey should do so without any... This hotel is well situated near the metro and Taksim. The entrance is clean but once you enter your room your nightmare starts. The mattress is thin. The room is cramped. The curtains are unhooked. The brochures are stuck together with mould. The bathroom is full of mould. The linen was full of holes. And worst of all the complementary... More

I am a wheelchair user. I made the mistake of booking a room here without first checking the room to ensure that it was, indeed, wheelchair accessible. When I entered the room and discovered that I could not get into the bathroom, I asked for a refund. Staff refused. I argued. Staff called management. Management refused. Understand: I had not... If you've ever seen Fawlty Towers - this was the Turkish equivalent! We were put in this hotel by our tour company (& that is a different issue altogether). When our transfers dropped us off, we were confused as it was not the hotel on our paperwork. The man at the hotel front desk was rude and basically shrugged his... More
