We had a very warm welcome, the staff is very friendly and warm. The Hotel is not big but has a lot to discover. Stylish and comfy. So sorry that we couldn't try the food in the restaurant, but I will definately the next time. Thanks for everything, and the little tasty present at check out.

Since we arrived to the hotel Fatih received us with a smile and a traditional drink from Turkey. The beautiful and very stylish reception is just the starting point of an awesome stay full of surprises around each corner. The rooms are very well and originally decorated and fully equipped with anything you might need (the Marshall stereo is a... More

We are very proud of finding this wonderful place to stay during our trip in magical Istanbul. Thanks to the Reception department, our private guides and guardians. We had a lovely three night stay at SuB Karakoy in November 2015. It is very conveniently located close to a tram stop making travel to and from the airport easy as well as trips across Istanbul when our legs were too tired to walk anymore. Close to the Museum of Modern Art which is worth a very long visit.... More

Everything about this place was fantastic; the room was beautiful, the breakfasts were really tasty with heaps of choices and the service was top notch. The concerierge, Fatih, added a lot to the experience, always taking time to share valuable local knowledge as well as organising anything we needed with no fuss. We stayed here 4 nights and would definitely... More

Many thanks for the great service and fantastic accomodation! The SuB Karakoy is definetly a great place to stay while being in Istanbul. First of all, it is located in a great, upcoming part of the city, close to public transport ( metro, ferry, funiculaire to the Galata-district ). Perfect for going out in the evening since many restaurants are... More

This hotel is really different from all those anonymous hotels you can find. It's well decorated with attention to details and the service is really wonderful : When you arrive the manager takes at least 15 minutes to explain on a map what you can do or visit in Istanbul and how to do that the best way, make reservation... Staying in Karakoy

Neighborhood Profile
Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
