The Fuat Pasa Yalisi is a relatively important historical mansion that sits on a neat location along the road going around coast. Like many historical buildings, this one offered charm and personality but also its share of frustrations. It should be noted that we were at this hotel for four days during the lobby reconstruction and at the end of... More

I stayed here while attending a conference at Koc university which is a 10 minutes cab ride from the hotel. The location on the strait is very nice but the hotel is low quality. The room is poorly designed (the "carpet" is made from a plastic like material). The bathroom is the only part of the room which is good.... More

On a business trip, so host ensured we had the best rooms...lovely balcony overlooking the Bosphorous but ver noisy with traffic all night. Breakfast was typical Turkish buffet, quite good. Easy walk to Sariyer where there are plenty of restaurant choices, hotel dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere.

I booked this hotel to stay away from busy areas. I have a baby with me and had a pleasant time. It's beautiful in a strange feeling They upgraded me to an amazing room But I asked to change the second night They moved me next to the elevator. I read about the staff being arrogant!!! In fact they look... More

DO NOT GO THERE , AWFUL. No a/c . wedding parties all night long! Staff harmless but inadequate . Not even located in actual tourist part of Istanbul so no use to anyone really . No English speaking persons around. Not even worth writing about. Shocking trip!!

stayed for 4 nights. Pleasant and clean hotel. Room had lovely view over the Bosphorous, but not much to do in area. Hotel restaurant dished up great food. Shame the swimming pool had no water in it - no explanation why, but think tiles being repaired. Reception staff have limited english. Restaurants locally mainly all fish. Taxi's fairly reasonably priced,... More

My wife and I had been invited to a wedding here, so we stayed the night before and the night after. This was a lovely hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the time here. The taxi driver had a little difficulty finding it, and the entrance is tucked away down a small street, but the hotel looks out over the spectacular... More

Situated right on the Bosphorous straits with charming sunrise view (check photo attached). It is as well only 10km from Black Sea coast. I spent three nights in the hotel in room 202 while visiting Istanbul for a business trip. The room's size is bigger than the average rooms in Istanbul. It had a beautiful balcony facing the Bosphorous. The... More
