Stayed with my family at the Sapphire in May 09 for a long weekend. Started with free shuttle service, very convenient and fast way of getting into the old Istanbul. Friendly and helpfull staff, good room for 3 persons. Excellent location allowing you to reach all major attractions by foot, adding to the intensity of the Istanbul experience. Also advisable... more

This hotel is fantastic. Located close to major attractions and close to the metro line for places farther out. It is a very quaint, clean, and roomy hotel. The hotel staff are available at all hours to help with all kinds of advice and recommendations. And all this for a very fair price. more

I stayed in 'Sapphire Hotel' with my partner for 5 nights. I didn't know what to expect, cause the pictures I saw were a bit gloomy. But, because of tripadvisor.com we decided to book there. And hell yeah, what an excellent hotel! The (renewed) rooms were outstanding, the lobby bar is ok and the swimming pool just great! The breakfast... more

Our first trip to Istanbul, was made memorable by our stay at Hotel Sapphire. We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Sapphire and received the complimentary airport shuttle which took all the pressure off our arrival after a very long flight from Australia. (36 hrs). Although we arrived at 8am we were warmly welcomed and accommodated immediaitely. The staff were friendly... more

I got a great deal on travel via govoyage.com. Airfare and hotel from Paris for less than 400 euros for 5 days and 4 nights. I went to travelocity to choose the hotel and this one sounded great. It certainly did not dissapoint. The location, service, and ambiance were wonderful. I would certainly return. Its not far from the metro... more

The minute I arrived at the Hotel Sapphire the staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located near the ferries, Spice Market, Blue Mosque etc. The hotel is on a street that is closed to automobile traffic and is very quiet. The rooms and the entire hotel is very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that... more

I had a very nice stay in this hotel. It was a great privilige to be taken from the airport free of charge, especially being in Istanbul for the first time... and then a very warm welcome onsite. My room was very comfortable and clean, airconditioned. Breakfasts tastely and rich in many tastes. Ideal location: walking distance to most of... more

We stayed in Hotel Sapphire for three nights. The room was not very large, but clean and well equipped (airco, possibility to make tea or coffee) with a large bathroom with bath and shower. The location is perfect for visiting all important sights (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia etc.) but also only a 10 minute walk from the quayside at Eminönu... more
