Conveniently located - very short walk from the airport bus stop, and close to Taksim and Istiklal street. A very lively neighborhood. We had booked a more spacious Signature room, which has a balcony and was higher up, so we got a nice view over Istanbul roofs. The room was good and clean, even if it felt a bit old.... More

A great hotel centrally located in a quiet street near Taksim Square. The room was spacious and the breakfast buffer great! I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to Istanbul visitors! The only negative thing is the very pricey lobby cafe.

This hotel is located near Taksim square which makes access to the metro and bus station very easy. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. People at the front desk are friendly and can speak English. The rooms are spacious and the toilet and bath cabin are clean. Rooms are cleaned daily (although the maid had forgotten to empty our... More

1. Quiet. 2. Clean. 3. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Murat. This gentleman extended all kinds of genuine support voluntarily from the moment we arrived until we boarded the taxi to the airport; all without showing any indication of expecting any rewards! The only thing that needs improvement is the WiFi as it is slow and the download capacity... More

As other frustrated guests have commented, this hotel is shoddy! The only good point is the proximity to Taksim - sadly, there no other good points, Some advice on staff development: the door-staff were exceptional; polite and friendly the desk staff: some were incredibly rude and some were very polite (hence hit and miss!) your staff should all adhere to... This hotel's main attraction is that it is centrally located next to Taksim square. There are hotels, eateries, and shops. An average hotel that lacks air conditioning in the room that we stayed. It is clean and comfortable with regard to size and bedding. There was a thermostat in room but it was only for decoration purposes. The bath tub... More

the rooms are so spacious with separate seating area. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Lovely reception area . Nice, friendly helpful staff. Central location in the new city. Very close to Taksim Square. We were able to walk across the bridge to the old part of town very easily. Very good breakfast.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
