So ask for recommendations but make sure to do your own research too. Our room was on level 8. With a double bed. On the first day we... More

An oriental style city hotel which is very central. You can walk to Istiklal street, Şişli & Harbiye in about 15 minutes. Most of the guests are arabian. Tv menu, name of some facilities are also in arabic. Rooms and beds are comfortable and some rooms on higher floors have sea & bridge view. I would like to mention that... More

I like to wander off the side streets to the antique shops around there. You can find some amazing unique treasures. This hotel was clean and... More

I have stayed in this hotel for six nights. First of all you can not rely on what people said about room sizes. The rooms are not like each other at all, we had three double rooms and two of those was big enough to accommodate two person while the other one was very small. I uploaded the hotel plan... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
