My girlfriend and I stayed for one night in the superior room for a layover. Summary for the review: Nice rooms exactly what we expected, don't rely on airport pick-up or any type of customer service from the front desk. To start; We requested via email for an airport pick-up (which is 30 euros). We received confirmation that the transportation... More

The hotel is situated in an ideal location. The rooms were adequately spacious and the bed was comfortable. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, and intermittently changed from scalding hot to cold. The WiFi signal in our room was so poor that it was unavailable for the majority of the time and too slow to stream a YouTube... More

We arrived around 10:30am and had requested early check-in. Our room was almost ready so they suggested we have breakfast in the meantime. The breakfast that day and for the rest of the days was okay - there was variety but it wasn't excellent. Our room was very nicely done and the beds were very comfortable. It wasn't a massive... The hotel has nice views from roof top bar, but the rooms have no view. The location is close to historical area. The amenities are close to none. Beds are not comfortable and toilets are very small. Its not a kids friendly hotel. The staff speaks basic english but the reception staff speaks good english. They do arrange for trips... More

Beautiful hotel near Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya. Room were clean and elegant, but economy room is little small. The staff were helpful and kind. There was a wonderful view from the rooftop bar and a very relaxing atmosphere after a long day of walking! It's a pity there's no restaurant in the hotel but only a breakfast room... however... Friends have recommended this hotel located very close to everything in the old town section of Istanbul. The property arranged my airport round-trip transfers which I paid at the front desk. The hotel is in very good shape, clean, bright, and the breakfast was one of the nicest I have seen in Europe to be inclusive in the rate. Restaurants... More

We stayed in this hotel on 2011 and it was good and now it is much better. Great location 5 minutes walk to the Grand Bazzar and many other historic and traditional places in Sultanahmet. The breakfast buffet became better than before and more fresh. The only thing that didn't improved is the staff and management. They refused to give... More

The Hotel Mina is a quality holel well situated near the Blue Mosque and the Calavry bazaar. The breakfast room has great views of the Blue Mosque. The breakfast is not elaborate but enough to satisfy you. While the hotel is small, it is very clean and the staff are very friendly and eager to help. The rooms are moderate... More

This is a small hotel but very clean and the staff are ultra friendly. The rooms are new and again small but comfortable. The view from the terrace bar is fantastic. Mr. Ali who is in charge of the bar is a very nice and hospitable person and will look after you like a friend. Do not miss the experience.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
