Great location for sightseeing and grocery store around the corner for supplies - thats where the positives stop. Customer service upon arriving was limited. Shown to a twin room with a fold out in the middle of those two beds - without space for suitcases or anything else was horendous. Called reception to see if we could move elsewhere, informed... Lovely hotel in an old building located in a very central area near to most sights. Rooms are basic but the breakfast area is a good enough reason to return. Served in a rooftop room with lots of sunshine, you will get to enjoy a good daily spread of continental and local breakfast with a lovely view of the city's... More

It was a nice hotel. We booked a family room. It was basically a family room that had 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms. We are a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children). The staff of this hotel were particulary helpful. We lose a mobile phone in another hotel. We asked this hotel and they called the other... More

We stayed in the Mina two separate times for 4 days each time and found the hotel to be lovely. It was very central, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were diverse and delicious. The rooms are small by North American standards but very clean and the shower worked well. The view from the top floor is... More

Our room was facing the street which was very loud, you could hear cars, cats and even pedestrians. Furniture and bathroom are outdated; the carpet is worn out. But overall the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The receptionists are polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was clean and had a good selection of Turkish and American choices. You get... Mina let us into our room at 7.30am and allowed us use of the breakfast Buffet without charge for that day which was wonderful of them after our flight landed at 6.30am. The staff are courteous and helpful and the rooms are clean however not particularly large. Would stay again.

We rated this hotel as Excellent after our last stay 2 years ago, but our allocation of room this time around has knocked our opinion of it. Bearing in mind that we booked at the turn of the year, we were horrified upon our arrival to be given a box room with no window and, with a suitcase laid on... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in April 2014. Starting with the good points it is ideally located for sightseeing the major 'must see' sights of Istanbul and for accessing the trams. However there are probably 40 or 50 hotels within in half a mile of this hotel equally well located so choosing this one for that reason... More

The hotel is situated in the hystorical center of Istanbul very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia Mosque. It has a nice restaurant on the top floor with a beautiful view on the Bosphorus Straits and the two mosques. The rooms are not very big but clean and cozy. Although there is free wi-fi the reception is not... More
